@exeviolthor The reason the engine supply deals are excluded from the cap is because factory/factory backed teams tend to get the engine supply at a discount (Sometimes even for free) as they are been supplied the […]
@exeviolthor I don’t think the engine supply deals are included in the budget cap.

I’d have preferred to see them just go back to the old format with the feature race on Saturday & sprint on Sunday.
StefMeister commented on the post, Prost 'will quit F1' if reverse grid races are introduced 4 days, 18 hours ago
I 1000% agree with Prost.
Reverse grids would be unfair, They would be penalising success & they for me are simply a gimmick too far that has zero business been introduced into the pinnacle of the sport.
StefMeister commented on the post, Verstappen's penalty "not such a handicap" at Sochi – Horner 6 days, 5 hours ago
In reference to COTD, I personally feel that anymore than 20 starts to feel like too many. I think 20+ just starts to dilute things a bit, Makes each race feel less like a special event & more like a routine thing […]
@phil-f1-21 Because after they announced the sprint format with Friday qualifying it was pointed out to them that most people are at work or school on Friday’s & wouldn’t be able to watch qualifying live, So they […]
then make more race weekends more important & more valuable than others.Should be some race weekends.
If they were to ever do a reverse grid race i’d simply stop watching as reverse grids are to me one of the very worst gimmicks & something I have long said would be a red line for me, A gimmick too far. It would […]
StefMeister commented on the post, Formula E teams awaiting detail on qualifying format changes 1 week, 1 day ago
Glad to see they are looking at modifying the Formula E qualifying format as I think that is one of the worst qualifying formats i’ve ever seen. Not just in terms of the way the groups are organised which […]
I still & will always maintain the view that there’s too many rules telling drivers how to race with too many investigations & too many penalties for incidents that warrant neither. I just hate the way things have […]
StefMeister commented on the post, Verstappen given three-place grid penalty for Hamilton crash 1 week, 5 days ago
I can’t say I agree with this. It was for me a racing incident that didn’t warrant any further action.
When you have 2 drivers pushing each other hard, Fighting for wins, For a championship you are going to […]
I don’t know if Monza are selling all the tickets for this weekend@hollidog They are operating at 50% capacity for this weekend.
StefMeister commented on the post, Hamilton and Verstappen under investigation after race-ending clash 1 week, 5 days ago
In terms of the incident itself I think it was nothing more than a racing incident with no further action necessary.
I will however add that I think they need to remove these sausage kerbs from the inside […]
I gave it 5/10 as for as nice as the result is I just never really got into the race as nothing was really happening for most of it.
The SC helped a bit when it closed the field up but even then after 2-3 laps […]
Outside of my dislike of the sprint weekend format & sprint race itself. The other big thing I dislike even more is how by doing these “Grand slam weekends” they will effectively be making some weekends more […]

StefMeister commented on the post, Alonso: F1 too preoccupied with "improving the show" 1 week, 6 days ago
I agree with him on his first point but don’t necessarily agree in terms of qualifying been too forgiving & especially not on him suggesting a single lap format.
When they did the single lap format in 2003 I […]
StefMeister commented on the post, Brawn surprised drivers found overtaking difficult in sprint qualifying 1 week, 6 days ago
I don’t know why he was surprised as what we saw in the sprint today is essentially what the racing has been like at Monza for a while now.
Lando Norris was interviewed on Sky after the sprint & he didn’t exactly seem that positive about it either.
StefMeister commented on the post, F1 teams will have to run rookies in practice sessions next year 1 week, 6 days ago
I’m not opposed to giving rookie drivers running on an F1 weekend, But I do dislike the prospect of them taking over one of the race drivers cars not simply because that’s taking track time away from the race […]
