Not wanting closed cockpits because it ruins the show or makes it less dangerous is beyond logical comprehension and emotionally selfish. I don’t particularly like the look of Le Mans cars but I’m not the one […]
Steph commented on the post, Vettel's tyre failure due to Ferrari strategy – Pirelli 6 years, 11 months ago
If 40 laps was what Pirelli told the teams the tyres could do safely within a race then Ferrari has every right to complain. Twelve laps is a huge difference so Pirelli do have a lot of questions to face.
Steph commented on the post, What should be the top priorities for F1? 7 years ago
Disappointed at how limited that poll is as my priorities don’t even get a look in.
What I think is essential is making F1 more representative and inclusive. People from poorer backgrounds (who are more likely […]
Steph commented on the post, Bianchi crane shouldn't have been there – Ecclestone 7 years ago
Bernie finally says something sensible – although he’s forgetting that it wasn’t the only issue, as there was the much contentious debate of if/when the race should even go ahead which surely played into […]
Steph commented on the post, WEC grid girl ban: Should F1 do the same? 7 years, 3 months ago
The comment against really isn’t thoroughly covered. The only argument against seems to be history and taste but actually the crucial bit of this argument is that you’d still be banning women from doing something […]
Steph commented on the post, Why F1 should adopt the WEC's ban on grid girls 7 years, 4 months ago
Have to admit, I’m really disappointed by this article. If you want true equality then argue that there should be grid people of all genders and of all shapes and sizes. If you want it about pure sport then just […]
Steph commented on the post, Ferrari made approaches to Hamilton last year 7 years, 5 months ago
As, I think (please correct me if I’m wrong), the only only woman F1 fan in this discussion it’s really a revolutionary change to see men debating to what women should do with their own lives and bodies :P Joking, […]
Steph commented on the post, Ferrari confirm Alonso will leave at end of season 7 years, 9 months ago
Fernando is a Ferrari legend to me. He did remind me of Michael and provided moments as special as 96, 97, 98 and 99. Michael had a fantastic team around him so they could eventually produce wonderful cars but […]
Steph commented on the post, Caterham seeks £2.35m crowdfund to make return 7 years, 9 months ago
@beneboy not true as the Lib Dems are helping them, the vast majority of the public think people on welfare are scroungers and the Labour Party keep attacking the most vulnerable too. There are thousands of […]
Steph commented on the post, Caterham seeks £2.35m crowdfund to make return 7 years, 9 months ago
I’m aware of that @beneboy but that doesn’t mean there’s not serious issues which are ignored. For instance, in the UK poverty is soaring and child poverty in particular is at a record high. Inequality has been […]
Steph commented on the post, Caterham seeks £2.35m crowdfund to make return 7 years, 9 months ago
I despair at humanity. Seriously. This will probably raise more in a week than most charities will raise in a year. It’s just ridiculous and for what? A race and then they’ll sell the team off to the highest […]
Steph commented on the post, 'No consensus' to stop teams collapsing – Kaltenborn 7 years, 10 months ago
I understand the COTD and from an emotional side I can’t disagree but from a practical point of view I cannot help but disagree. The drivers opinions on the accident are vital to know because what happened wasn’t […]
Steph commented on the post, Alonso leaving Ferrari 'to win again' – Montezemolo 7 years, 10 months ago
I can’t think of anyone who has left for a winning car- Rubens left early but that was because he was completely fed up. It is quite a big statement about Ferrari at the moment.

“F1 has its first Ebola scare. Paddock member on a plane isolated away from terminal with two ill aboard. Tests later show its not Ebola.”
The (Western) world seriously needs to get a grip. That’s not an Ebola […]Steph commented on the post, Race conditions were "dangerous" – Massa 7 years, 10 months ago
I don’t want to say Massa’s comments are due to his record in the wet (which is always made out to be poorer than it actually is) but he’s always been very safety conscious iirc. Maybe it’s because of his own […]
Steph commented on the post, Serious crash for Bianchi ends Japanese Grand Prix 7 years, 10 months ago
There will be serious questions to answer and this always would be the case if there was an incident.
1/ why wasn’t the race moved? Even if the weather didn’t impact on the race (which it did) spectators would […]
Steph commented on the post, "Massive threat" to race from typhoon Phanfone 7 years, 10 months ago
I know changing times is a pain but given that the threat is quite large and it is a *typhoon* I do think it’s daft that they’ve not put the race on earlier, even by just an hour. If it does chuck it down and […]
Steph commented on the post, Unhappy Horner hits out at 'negative focus' 8 years ago
It just came across as him not bothering about what the fans think or human rights issues because his love of racing matters more. It was the most self centered and rash response I’ve seen in a long time. He […]
