That Independent article is brilliant. It’s about time more light were shed on the atrocities that Saudi Arabia are committing. The fact that they’re using sport as a medium of pulling the wool over the rest of […]

Top 3?!
The gap between the top 2 and Red Bull is depressing, let alone the gap to the rest.Chris commented on the post, Big variation in team's tyre choices for Spanish Grand Prix 2 years, 11 months ago
SuperSofts in Barcelona… I foresee many pitstops.
Should be interesting to see what the teams do strategy-wise.Chris commented on the post, Sainz pleased with "very big step forward" 3 years, 1 month ago
I have no idea what I just read, but good luck to you, sir.

You wouldn’t know it, but Alonso is sponsored by Kimoa.

It’s easy to be the fastest growing on social media when you had no internet presence whatsoever in the first place.
Chris commented on the post, Formula V8 3.5 to close at end of season 3 years, 5 months ago
To be honest i’m glad it’s closing. The whole World Series by Renault thing has been an absolute flop. Tiny grids, minimal promotion and empty grandstands. The loss they’re operating at must be substantial.

Well, no. He probably wouldn’t. Juan is rather… portly… at the moment.

I’m also all for more razzamatazz, but it needs to be done well. The driver introductions were not done well.

In terms of the absolute rule, the penalty was the correct decision. You cannot overtake someone by taking a shortcut that is not between the white lines. In terms of the context of the weekend, it was the wrong […]

It’s funny you should say that, I was literally thinking during the race that Alonso must have chuckled to himself when he found out about Vettel’s problem after the race.
Alonso’s slipped through his fingers […]
Chris commented on the post, F1 unlikely to drop grid penalties – Wolff 3 years, 6 months ago
Well he won the GP2 championship, which is a spec series, so there’s obviously some talent there. But it’s just not translated to Formula One.
Chris commented on the post, Hamilton takes first Suzuka pole position as he dominates qualifying 3 years, 6 months ago
It’s entirely track and temperature dependent.
Tracks with high speed corners and long straights will favour Mercedes. Those that are low speed and require more mechanical grip/agility will favour the Ferrari. […]

100% agree with the COTD. Outside of Singapore, Palmer has been absolutely rubbish and it really has been cringe-worthy hearing Sky gushing over him as if he’s some sort of untapped talent that hasn’t had the […]
Chris commented on the post, Vote for your 2017 Malaysian Grand Prix Driver of the Weekend 3 years, 6 months ago
Just because other teams don’t necessarily know precisely what other teams are doing, the routines for the Friday sessions are so rehearsed that most teams have a rough idea of what their competitors are up to. […]

I’m probably in the minority with this but I feel Lewis Hamilton was the driver of the weekend. After arguably the worst Friday that Mercedes has experienced this season, he still managed to take pole (yes, […]
Chris commented on the post, Palmer rejects claims Sainz will replace him after Singapore 3 years, 7 months ago
Really sounds like from what he’s said that even he knows the writing is on the wall. Whether he’s gone after Singapore or see’s out the rest of the season, he knows his time in F1 is likely up. Just the […]
