For some reasons, Todfod doesn’t like Gasly and espacially Ocon and never misses an occasion to say it. That’s fine, but calling them “mediocre” or “worst on the grid” cast a doubt on the underlying reasons, given […]

A reasonably balanced comment about Esteban Ocon: hats off @todfod!

The culture of fear is back at Ferrari.
Binotto, who brought stability and performance to the team got sacked. The message is clear: no error will be tolerated.
No one will take risks or innovate, they could […]

Indeed, thanks @elliotwood!
x303 commented on the post, How many victory chances did Hamilton have in his first winless F1 season? 2 months, 2 weeks ago
I think a win at Zandvoort was possible under normal circumstances. The W13 was flying on those hard tires. Verstappen would have had to catch the Mercedes and then passe them. At that point, I think his medium […]
I totally get your points @slowmo. I think Verstappen’s results in other races are irrelevant as this is a rating for the Abu Dhabi GP.
I probably would have been less surprised with a 7, as I understand it, it […]
I’m surprised Verstappen got a 8, given Will’s scale. It didn’t look difficult from the outside, maybe in qualy but it was just a walk in the park on sunday.
I don’t want to sound salty, just that we didn’t see […]

I’m surprised as well. Seems like Salmeda is paid by RB and not Gasly.

You’re absolutely right @johnbeak, but it seems – looking at the comments – that Ferrari fans are ungrateful when they should be celebrating. The leap from 2021 is huge and bods very well for 2023.

Common sense is just arbitrariness shared by the greatest number.
If you have a good idea, you don’t need common sense to justify it.
In turn 4 Alonso rode the kerb and lost grip. He is the one colliding with Ocon.
As for the other incidents, I don’t recall them so Ocon may very well be at fault.
My point is Ocon is a valuable driver, I […]
@neiana I see your point, but there is no way Verstappen would have keep the inside of the corner. From his onboard camera, we see he is drifting to the outside – colliding with Hamilton in the process. I think – […]
Over the radio Verstappen said he has reasons. I’d love to know what they are.
Oh man, it was heartbreaking to see those extra pit stops in Sakhir in 2020. Indeed, the redemption race.
That was a reply to Sviat .
Alpine finally understood that Ocon is doing badly
Ocon finished 4th in Suzuka – no less – in front of Hamilton. I don’t know how that is bad. And Alonso was totally responsible for the clash during the sprint.

Oh Jim. Alonso has been very vocal recently, I can’t wait to see how he will react at Stroll’s Sr team. I expect fireworks for sure. But hey, the pay is better at Aston Martin.

Absolutely the best sprint. 8/10.

Absolutely, I don’t put the ‘fan car’ in the same group as the others because it did not participate in a full season.
