was just going to say the same thing.. Beat me to it.. But I think he manage something else record the most consecutive laps lead. 144 laps believe that is a record.

Nigel Mansell had 235 consecutive leading laps back in 1992, so no record for Webber here

Michael’s fastest lap was like 4 tenths faster than Nico’s one :O

And they were on the “short wheelbase” car, not the long Barcelona’s one many said was designed for Michael only…
I think Schumi is having some fun. Even if he will not win, he’s having fun, and I think that it is what is really important to him. I suspect he doesn’t care too much about his legend, his reputation, his legacy…he cares about having fun. I like him for it.

Lets see how much fun he has when he cant close the points gap to his teammate. Then we will see a little bit of the ‘no fun’ and ‘i’ll do anything on and off the track’ to win.

I think we will see do anything to win, I think we saw that in his pass on Alonso, opportunistic is how I’d put it. But I’d be surprised if he is so petty to get frustrated by his team mates point lead, He will get frustrated if he can’t beat him on track, but that happens with every driver in every team.

Karun’s fastest lap was better than his qualifying time. Close to the top of the new teams and less than a second behind De la Rosa and Rubens too!!!

That Williams’ pace is absolutely abhorrent, along with the Sauber the worst of the establish teams. It’s a shame Barrichello and Hülkenberg have to struggle with such a pitiful car

Their pace is probably pretty bad, but you have to take in account, that both Williams and Sauber never came to run with low fuel in the race, so their times ar not really comparable to the fastest laps.
Otherwise McLaren should fire Jenson Button immediately as he was a massive 23.2 seconds of the pace of his team mate :O

I wouldn’t mind it but I got your point

Ruben’s was going pretty strong, He was looking at a points finish when his car failed.

Thanks for these no.s
What is interesting is looking at the Top 50 fastest laps and sorting them in the order of how early they were done. It really shows how fast Kubica was, and how much Webber slowed(pulled up?)at the end!
