Robert Kubica has his final operation following his crash earlier this year.
A statement released by Renault said: “Today, Robert underwent one last scheduled operation in Italy, aimed at recovering the full mobility of his right elbow.
“The surgeons are happy to report that they have been able to complete 100% of their task and did not encounter any complications. They have described the outcome of the operation as ?óÔé¼?ôa total success?óÔé¼?Ø.
“On waking up, it was immediately clear Robert was in good spirits. Why? Well, as soon as he opened his eyes, he asked for the results of today?óÔé¼Ôäós race!
“He will now rest in hospital for a few days before resuming his rehabilitation and training programme.”

Very good to hear that. I can’t help but wonder if his mood was dampened a bit after hearing how his team faired, but great news, and hope he can get into a car again soon.

I’m so happy to hear that.
I personally rate him very high as a driver and he is a very likeable personality as well. It would be a huge loss if he wouldn’t rediscover his very best, because he had this cutting edge over the rest which only Vettel, Alonso, Hamilton, and perhaps Rosberg has nowadays, I think. I think it’s very easy to lose that edge. I think Massa, for example lost it in Hungary 2009.

Good news, thanks for the update!
So, he’s in Italy? Surprise appearance at Monza? I would have expected to see him in the paddock by now.
Whatever he is comfortable with though :)

Obviously not for another year, they would not be testing Senna now if so.

I think that’s more a sad reflection of Heidfeld’s ability to fit into the team than anything else.
