Former Formula 1 driver Vitantonio Liuzzi has joined the field for this weekend’s Virtual Grand Prix.

The ex-Red Bull, Toro Rosso, Force India and HRT racer will be one of nine F1 drivers in the field, which includes six current racers.

Following his one-off-appearance in the Virtual Chinese Grand Prix, Carlos Sainz Jnr will miss this weekend’s race, his place taken by Lewis Hamilton’s younger brother Nicolas.

Two-times race winner Charles Leclerc, last week’s winner Alexander Albon, plus Lando Norris, Antonio Giovinazzi and the Williams pair will appear again. Junior drivers Antonio Fuoco, Max Fewtrell, David Schumacher and Pietro Fittipaldi will also participate alongside competitors from other sports.
