Piastri got unlucky with the SC timing, & the compound choice for Norris ultimately didn’t cost him P2.
On the other hand, hard for Sainz definitely cost him dearly.
Perez didn’t claw back positions as much as I thought based on the Austrian GP.
What was Stroll thinking, though? He just rammed into Gasly by cutting the corner, even though he should simply backed off at that moment to fight back a little later.
Rightful penalty even if that doesn’t make a difference for Gasly.

Aston Martin will be out of top 10 in Belgium.
Also, Hamilton is sooo lucky to the point it being absolutely ridiculous. The guy made an error in qualification, lost to his teammate in Q3, made an error at the race start and lost two positions, was behind Russell for the entire race… and somehow gets a podium in the end. Oscar deserves the podium, not Hamilton.

I bet you weren’t saying that last year when the exact same thing happened multiple times and Hamilton came off worse. Or when a safety car cost him a championship . Ah, selective memory really is great isn’t it. Let’s not use facts or logic.

Where were you when Russel got ahead thanks to the safety car in Monaco and Baku?
It is quite scary what the Hamilton bad brain does to some people’s cognitive abilities.
Also, he was behind Russel for about half the race. Learn to count.

He drove his race perfectly. Mercedes had been setting up the medium-soft strategy all weekend. Stint 1 was all about putting in consistent lap times and keeping the tyres in a good state. The safety car helped his race, but he still needed to be right there to get the advantage. The McLaren was incredible this weekend so to beat one is a fantastic result.
