Weather could be an issue this time according to the latest forecast. (Very) light rain (0,2 mm) at the start of qualifying, but dry later in the session.
Light rain at race start (0,5 mm) going to 0,1 mm later on.

Given Zandvoort is literally on the coast, weather forecasts probably aren’t that meaningful almost a full week out from the event. Usually rain falls a bit further inland, too.
Still, could be fun to have another mixed conditions qualifying.

MichaelN – Indeed premature for definitive conclusions this far in advance because of how quickly forecasts can change.

Great, the track is too narrow for f1 really, it needs to be wet or it’ll hardly be any better than Monaco.

I actually liked the first race back in zandvoort, I think in 2021, it felt like hungary, so drivers able to pass but having to fight for it, unlike many other tracks nowadays.
Though obviously rain is always more interesting, as long as they race!

That picture is really nice. Makes it look very old school, with the narrow track and packed grandstands. The hazy atmosphere looks kind of 70s as well.

For the second consecutive season, Dutch GP differs from other CET European location events using the standard weekend format by having an hour earlier equivalent session timings for Friday & Saturday sessions, which I don’t get.
13:30-14:30/17:00-18:00 & 12:30-13:30/16:00 are the norm Friday-Saturday session timings across all wholly comparable European events as of last season, but the Dutch GP differs without an apparent reason.
Overall, a bit too much inconsistency in session timings these days versus how they used to be for a long time & most recently, even before last season.
