    @kingshark By any chance, is there any open spaces in this game? :P

    Sure, the more souls, the more happiness. You are the 21th manager.

    Now don’t pull an Antonio Felix da Costa on us. :P

    Woohoo! Brilliant. Can I post my setup now or will I have to wait for the next race?

    You can setup your car and strategy for this race, no problem.

    So, was tempted to go ahead with my spy scandal tactic of copying @mathers, but I don’t like his setup, so I’m not going to! Engine 4 on Canada?!!

    @infernojim I am basing my decision on previous values I used from the last rounds (if that makes no sense sorry but I can’t tell you haha :P) – I have been doing some serious thinking, maybe I have overthought :P Just need @kingshark to get qualifying on the go haha :)

    Guys, I have an announcement to make.

    I have multiple school projects due next week, and mid-term exams after that. I’m afraid that this game is just, too heavy and too much work to handle online. The random forum driver games are cool, but this one is just too much number crunching and strategy calculating. Sadly, that’s just too much work for anything less.

    Sorry to disappoint everyone, and I understand, unfortunately.

    Therefore, after a short-cut 3 round season. I declare Mathers champion of Forum Manager Game!

    If you guys want to continue a game like this, I recommend you check out this website.

    It’s like my game, only much more complicated and realistic. ;-)
    It includes sponsorship, finances, upgrading your car and facilities (windtunnel) etc…

    @kingshark No worries mate. It was very kind of you to host this game for us and it has been great for as long as it lasted. There are simply more important things in life than games, so please don’t feel guilty or anything – the best of luck with your exams :)

    @kingshark

    Just out of interest, can you tell us the optimum set-up and strategy for this race?

    @juan-pablo-heidfeld-1

    These would be the perfect car setup for each circuit;

    FW RW ER GR RH
    AUS 7 7 5 6 7
    JAP 8 8 6 7 5
    MON 9 9 2 2 4
    CAN 4 4 7 8 7

    In Australia, the optimized strategy was a two-stopper. Qualify and start on options, pit on lap 15 for primes, and again on lap 37 for primes.

    In Japan, the optimized strategy was a 3 stopper. Qualify and start on options, pit on lap 11 for primes, again on lap 26 for primes, and on lap 42 for options.

    In Monaco, the optimized strategy was a 1 stopper. Qualify and start on options, pit on lap 28 for primes.

    In Canada, I hadn’t decided/figured out the perfect strategy yet. Most likely, it’d be start on options, pit for primes on lap 20, and then pit for options on lap 50, or something like that.
