Where are the best places to get tickets for the German Grand Prix at the Nurburgring?
4th February 2013, 21:51 at 9:51 pm #224710ColinReesParticipantI’ve been looking at getting to the N-Ring this year and started with the main website…
http://www.nuerburgring.de/en/events/automobile/formel1.html
They have an price list in English….
Their on-line booking form is a mix of English and German though, so it might be better phoning the hotline or using a UK based firm. Anyone have any recommendations?
The website had a seating booker but it was crashing for me and again in German. I was using this website to get a feel for the best seats. T12A (silver) comes out at around £215 with early booking.

Anyone got any tips on accommodation and park n rides?
5th February 2013, 13:40 at 1:40 pm #224711Jane SmithParticipantI am T4 upper tier again…but boy have tickets gone up!!! :( Booked through gootickets, official agency. It was in English. http://www.gootickets.com
Have booked with them before and they were great, allowing delivery of tickets to my work address – it is there as an option. Tickets were same price as on the website main (€449 each). But then of course you have booking fee, handling, delivery (eye watering €26)….bringing total to £857 for the two of us! Still….was amazing last time! Don’t recall Park and Ride I have to say – circuit is surrounded by fields and we only had a 20 min walk in. If you are in a high grandstand (like T4 upper) bring plenty of warm clothing….the bitter winds meant we only stayed seated for F1 and missed a lot of support races etc. Hotels are filling up fast. Booking.com is best bet. They still have a few left at reasonable price but get in quick. 3 nights for £161.52 at 8 miles from circuit is good:

We take the overnight Stenaline ferry from Harwich on Wednesday night (lovely cabin and minibar, all paid for with tesco vouchers :) then drive to circuit (5hrs?). Then stay in local hotel for 3 nights before overnight stay near Calais Sunday, swift booze shop on Monday morning then take Eurotunnel home Monday morning. Perfect!5th February 2013, 13:41 at 1:41 pm #224712Jane SmithParticipantBe quick with hotels…going fast though!!
14th February 2013, 18:24 at 6:24 pm #224713Benjamin HoffmannParticipantHi i’m new here and this is my first post, so here goes ;-)
Just bought Tickets for the Race, T14 just before the last turn into start/finish. 89€ for the whole weekend. Not the best spot but you can see the cars going through the chicane and there’s a video wall opposite. I’ve never been to an F1 race before and as this is the last chance to hear those lovely high revving V8s i had to take it.
Will take the Bike if the weather’s nice. Does anybody know what the parking situation is with bikes? I always found a spot at 24h races, but then F1 is something different alltogether ;-)I’m half German/British and live in Bonn, about 40 min. drive from the track. If anybody needs help getting some info in German or any local(ish) info, please let me know.
Counting the days!
See you there,
Ben15th February 2013, 13:34 at 1:34 pm #224715Jane SmithParticipantIf you are coming by motorbike there are always LOADS there ;) Parking close to the circuit should be no problem. I seem to recall them all lined up against a fence really close to circuit.
15th February 2013, 22:12 at 10:12 pm #224716Benjamin HoffmannParticipantHi Jane,
Good to know. That’s how i remember it from 24h VLN races. Just thought F1 being in another league would make that impossible. Only problem is you can’t really take folding chairs and stuff on the bike :-/ Depends on the weather anyway.
Ben19th February 2013, 7:28 at 7:28 am #224717bushinParticipantHi Jane,
Do you have some pics from T4? I am looking into getting tickets but can’t decide which to get. Also do you know how is T4A ?
19th February 2013, 13:15 at 1:15 pm #224718Jane SmithParticipantI have some photos here:

can’t comment on T4A. I was back row, last but one seat from the end, nearest to T1
19th February 2013, 13:17 at 1:17 pm #224719Jane SmithParticipantCan’t REALLY remember about folding chairs at the Nurburgring….but I know they were DEFINITELY confiscated last time I was at Hockenheim (2010).
20th February 2013, 5:43 at 5:43 am #224720bushinParticipantThanks Jane going to order a ticket for T4 :)
3rd March 2013, 3:37 at 3:37 am #224721EmmaParticipantHi there,
I have purchased tickets for my husband’s birthday to the German Grand Prix.
Can someone ease my mind about goo tickets? I’ve read on a forum that someone never received their tickets and someone suggested it was a scam but it seemed legitimate to me, and I wouldn’t have sunk a hefty sum on t4 seats unless it had seemed legitimate.
Can anyone advise?! It seems like Jane, you have had a good experience before so I should just stop worrying :)
Thanks!
5th March 2013, 20:42 at 8:42 pm #224722Jane SmithParticipantGooTickets are perfectly fine. I have ordered from them many times and never had an issue.
6th March 2013, 17:40 at 5:40 pm #224723EmmaParticipantThanks Jane,
I never got a reply from them to my email so this is reassuring :)
Looking forward to seeing my husband’s face when I tell him about the tickets next week!
