That’s some massive bodywork and rear wing!10th November 2013, 19:55 at 7:55 pm #238245robk23Participant
That car looks impressive out on track, these new regulations are hopefully going to give the WTCC the kick up the backside it so desperately needs.
On a side note Sebastien Loeb finished second in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia race at Macau this weekend. Can next season hurry up, I can’t wait to see him fight it out with Yvan Muller!11th November 2013, 2:00 at 2:00 am #238246toiagoParticipant
Will Kubica join them in some sort of way? Or his he headed for another season in the WRC? Because there have been rumours pointing either way, since he has been backed by Citroen in the past few months.11th November 2013, 2:10 at 2:10 am #238247Prisoner MonkeysParticipant
It’s unclear. Citroen might run a third car at selected events, but they might not. If they do, then they might run it for a single driver, or they might share it around. And even then, Kubica might not want to do it. Nobody has commented one way or the other.11th November 2013, 11:04 at 11:04 am #238248
Both Kubica and Pechito Lopez have been testing, so it’s unclear.
It’s been rumoured that Lopez might join Citroen full time, but the calendar for the argentinean touring car series Lopez races in (3 of them) have been released last week and they all share dates with WTCC. So he’ll either have to give up all 3 championships for next season here, or do selected runs at WTCC…11th November 2013, 11:07 at 11:07 am #238249
On a side note, that CItroen sounds so pre-V8 TC2000 ! Love it !12th November 2013, 7:13 at 7:13 am #238250GeeMacParticipant
Nice looking thing that actually, looks really purposeful, a good step in the right direction for WTCC. Loeb/Muller is such a strong line up, looking forward to seeing how they do.12th November 2013, 9:30 at 9:30 am #238251Prisoner MonkeysParticipant
@fer-no65 – It might have been rumoured that Lopez will join them full-time, but I can tell you up-front that it’s untrue. Citroen have already confirmed that they will only run two cars full-time.15th December 2013, 17:21 at 5:21 pm #238252
Huge rumours that Lopez really is leaving to compete full on with Citroen. Neil Hudson has been tweeting all week about it.15th December 2013, 20:51 at 8:51 pm #238253
More to the point, Lopez has just been stripped from his TRV6 title so unfairly that I suppose he’d love to get out of here as soon as possible…
and he really is travelling to Paris right now…16th December 2013, 14:36 at 2:36 pm #238254

Lopez of USF1 fame? Awe…some?16th December 2013, 19:29 at 7:29 pm #238256
@journeyer even if I don’t like him, he’s very good. He’s super competitive in touring cars too, and he’s been racing very sucessfully in our touring car series here.17th December 2013, 8:39 at 8:39 am #238257
