She hasn’t set the world on fire in DTM, but I think she is doing great in F1. Her pace has been pretty competitive in all the practice sessions she has done, so I’m sure Williams are happy to keep her. I’d just […]

Genuinely believe that’s COTD worthy.
I agree with pretty much everything you mentioned. I’m usually on top of things when it comes to helmet design so I’m extremely disappointed to see such […]

It’s been around for a while but it has slipped past me until now. I just stumbled upon Kubica’s 2014 helmet from Bell; any ideas if he has actually used it or not?

Love that Alonso picture!

I strongly disagree with that approach. A driver can only really express what kind of preferences he has, and not whether it’s a complete dog or not. You have teams that work together to design the best car, so […]

There is a glimpse of it during his personal interview on the release website.

It’s horrid to say the least. They essentially get to start from scratch without Mercedes as their PU supplier and Vodafone as a title sponsor yet they go out and paint the car the same way they have been for as long as I remember. It’s hard for me to like the team for butchering the opportunity despite getting Honda engines and Alonso.

Wow! That’s taller than I thought!
Vergne has mentioned how he loses .2s or so a lap compared to the smaller and lighter drivers, makes you wonder how fast Button would be if he was Fernando’s or […]

I have thought about that as well, but it’s not just an issue of finding a title sponsor. If you look at McLaren’s overalls from a few years back they are just covered in sponsors, while there is only a handful for 2015.

I think Button does well for someone being so tall, it’s pretty impressive.
Neusalz replied to the topic The helmet thread in the forum Formula One 7 years, 3 months ago
I think he will be keeping this. During one of the McLaren interviews he said he would be sporting a different helmet than usual and I think this fits the description. He’s not someone to change his helmet too often.
Anyone have more pictures of the helmet by any chance? I’m trying to search for more angles, but haven’t had any luck so far.
Neusalz replied to the topic Favourite driver helmet of all time? in the forum Formula One 7 years, 3 months ago
It’s hard to single out one helmet, but I’ll mention a few that I really like.
– Niki Lauda’s Parmalat Helmet
– Robert Kubica’s 2011 Helmet
– Jean Eric Vergne’s Cevert and Alesi Helmet Remakes (I just prefer the designs on the newer helmets with better quality and all)Neusalz commented on the post, No fanfare for RB11 as Red Bull race to finish new car 7 years, 3 months ago
Honda actually have brand colours?
That’s a good question! My initial thought was red, but the more I think about it the less certain I am.

Thanks @fixy! First thing I did after seeing the official pictures of the f1 car was to come on this thread because I knew you would be on top of this.

I don’t buy it. The personnel is contracted by Ferrari, and not Alonso so I don’t see why destabilizing Kimi would be in anybodies interest.

I found both tracks to be exciting, but I’d rank the Nurburgring a little higher. That race a few seasons back in which Vettel spun out was particularly thrilling race.

I’m glad Vettel has taken the challenge. He is young, already a multiple time world champion, and has assured himself recognition for many generations. I’m my opinion he is the only driver that can afford to go to […]
