Yeah, I discounted Button because I don’t think he is available, but forgot Maldonado won a race. In any case Maldonado isn’t the consistent performer that Kovalinen is. I think Heikki has improved quite a lot […]
I haven’t posted much lately. I haven’t watched much F1 lately either despite being a dedicated fan since I saw my first race on TV (Adelaide ’86). But I logged in just to say thank you for this article Keith.
@montreal95: You asked for a worse junior career. They were the terms you set out. I believe I’ve met them.
I’ve compared their open wheel careers. Wolff finished on the podium in some of her junior open wheel […]

The only other well known sport where men and women compete on equal terms is horse riding, it’s also about riding/piloting something, and if you look at the Olympics you’ll see that performances are pretty […]
Girls are pretty much equal in strength to boys until boys start to mature at around 11 or 12. Strength difference is less of an issue for the youngest competitors than it is for the older ones.

@david-a This is going to sound silly to you, but I think it is in keeping with Webber’s character: I think he was making a point to the team. He was saying, I can follow orders.
If he had raced with Vettel after […]
@david-a: Yes, he defended the position vigorously after coming out of the pits, and managed to do it on cold tyres. If you’ve been following the details, then that’s usually the point at which if team orders are […]
