Quitting is not in the Williams DNA. They’ll call it quits only when the money runs out; they won’t do a Ferrari and throw a hissy fit threatening to leave for Formula E.

Should have sent Verstappen to the season opener in Saudi Arabia, showed him the prison cells where the government keeps and abuses dissidents; that kind of threat would keep him in check I bet. Fetching tea and […]
Edward Hunter commented on the post, Hamilton unlikely to race in Formula E: "They're slower than Formula Ford" 3 years, 6 months ago
Pretty much all of those sound like great ways to inflate costs and ensure that FE goes the way of LMP1; only one dominant manufacturer left. And battery swaps are incredibly lengthy and if rushed, potentially […]

Less rich daddies = no more Force India. Sorry, you can’t have it both ways.
Edward Hunter commented on the post, Brawn: Formula E's "tame" races show why F1 isn't ready to go electric 3 years, 9 months ago
Just watch F2 then, because that’s what you are describing. Formula E was never meant to be “F2, but electric”. It’s clearly going for a different audience; hence the city centre races. The reason they don’t use […]

Branson’s statement loses quite a lot of it’s legitimacy when you remember that back in 2015 he predicted that Formula E would overtake F1 by 2020; so clearly he is now re-adjusting by adding 7 extra years on just […]

Buemi only won 3 races last season, the same amount as Di Grassi, but I do get your point about the gaps. It’s apparently so that the kit and the cars can be transported as carbon neutrally as possible.

Lol, it’s not Mahindra’s fault that it’s a ‘boring’ livery, they let fans design the livery for this season and they just went with the best one.

I seem to remember Senna qualifying 3rd quite often in 1992-93 against vastly superior Williams cars. But then again isn’t Max supposed to be the new Senna? Well, they’re both pretty great to be honest.
