The FIA will use any excuse to make the cars even bigger!!!

When they put LEC on the hard, I was thinking VET was on a two-stopper. That would have been the smartest thing to do, but who said they were smart?
Brian commented on the post, 2019 Australian Grand Prix race result 4 years ago
Ferrari strategy terrible for both. Pitted VET too early and then should have pitted when VER passed. LEC probably stayed out too long and then should have pitted late to get fastest lap.

63 for Russell? Does that number have a special meaning for him? Reminds me of a number a September call-up in Major League Baseball would have. You don’t expect those players to be with the team for very long.

The RB guys do seem to talk too much. I think it’s more likely that their comments are just published more often than others.

Clearly it should be BOT. RIC deserves DOTW as much VET did in Australia. Race was won on strategy.

Thanks for pointing that out. Now my head hurts. Is this like changing the rules in the middle of the game? Have the teams tested these different tires? I’m sure some teams and others have not. Is this now giving […]
Brian commented on the post, Does Hamilton really want grid girls back?: "I couldn't care less" 4 years, 11 months ago
I thought it was funny that he was asked that question. Could we please stop being so hyper-sensitive about everything? I guess that’s where we are now with social media. His response was a little defensive. So […]

I think the gap to those 3 was still growing even before MAG pitted. I thought the gap was large enough to pit without losing position. Assuming these 3 would pit before VET, Ferrari could keep him out until […]

It’s just a backhanded approach to get engine parity. That’s all it is. He better hope the Honda engine has a “super ninja mode”.

Agree
Brian commented on the post, 2018 Australian Grand Prix Star Performers 5 years ago
Excuse me if someone has mentioned this elsewhere, but don’t you think Ferrari’s strategy was to have VET go long enough to go SS for the final stint? He only went to the S because of the opportunity with the VSC. […]
Brian commented on the post, Ricciardo's fastest lap shows Red Bull's true pace – Horner 5 years ago
In this day and age of fuel, engine, and tire conservation, how relevant is the fastest lap when predicting true pace? Didn’t McLaren Honda have the fastest lap at Monza one year? I like RB, but all this big talk […]

They did seem to have commercial breaks at the least appropriate times. Does this apology mean they will actually improve the coverage or is it just lip service? I also wish the post race coverage was longer. I […]
Brian commented on the post, Hamilton preferred a later pit stop in fight with Ferrari 5 years ago
This just shows how important it is to have BOT up front. After bottling it in qualifying, I think going forward he should be conservative in qualifying. The Mercedes is a beast in qualifying and he is guaranteed […]
Brian commented on the post, Hamilton's Q3 surge surprised Vettel: "I don't know what he did" 5 years ago
You’re right. HAM nailed it, VET did not. I think the gap is more like 0.3 sec between Mercedes and Ferrari. Start tomorrow could be crazy with VER and Haas trying to get to the front.

Exactly. I only need to know two things – who do I send my money to and how can I watch it on my TV.
