All of this was know up front @frood19. And it is not even true that it ever really livened up the action (exactly as most who knew what they were talking about predicted) anytime. Pretty sure the first time it […]
Robbie commented on the post, F1 won't use 'Grand Slam' Sprint Qualifying format at Monaco – Brawn 2 weeks, 4 days ago
@frood19 The thing for me about the current qualifying is that I am fine with it too, however, it is not always excellent, is often predictable, perhaps not as much this year we’ll see, and it comes down to the […]
@frood19 I’m not so sure that I agree with your first point. I don’t think Albert Park generally provides exciting racing. It’s usually the first race of the season so I think there’s always a bit more excitement […]
Would be a bit hard since the part where they go most widely off track at that turn is the start of the outer loop of the track @frood19.
Having a gravel trap in the middle of that would not work :-)
@frood19 A small piece of gravel trap or other physical deterrent at all slow-speed corner exits.

@frood19 Damon Hill is just a British flag waver, not much more. He was even shocked to find out when he was a driver that the British press could be anything other than supportive, and said as much. Now that he’s […]
Who are you talking to anon? What are you reading?
Yes @frood19 I pretty much said the same thing.
Miltiadis commented on the post, F1's new plan for three Saturday sprint races in 2021 faces Thursday vote 3 months ago
Exactly @frood19, they should try their plan, but not during the championship.
They could stay longer at Abu Dhabi for instance(after the season ended) and try this format. It would give them the opportunity to […]

@frood19 Totally agree, it just looks proportionally wrong all over the place. I think it subscribes to the adage ‘if it looks fast, it probably is’, and the F2001 Ferrari just looks quicker, much more ‘shape’ going on.
@frood19 Yeh agreed. I was looking at the best pairings article and was a bit surprised Max and Perez are considered the strongest but then again I wasn’t. He seems to be the ‘housewives favourite’ whilst Bottas […]
@frood19 you are correct, from 2019 the driver+seat has to weigh at least 80 kg, but having a lighter driver is still an advantage because of the center of gravity. It could also help any team struggling with the […]

That brings a great risk so very foolish as every body reacts different ! See @frood19 comments.
So you don’t want to be sick vaccine is much better!
@frood19 Imho yes your pessimism is misplaced. I don’t see Lawrence getting out of F1 once his son stops driving. You make it sound like this is just a frivolous hobby for them, and I think nothing could be […]
@frood19 I don’t necessarily think he’ll leave once Lance decides he wants to be an astronaut, an international DJ, a monk or whatever takes his fancy next. Papa Stroll knows the value of having his brands in F1, […]
Ben Rowe commented on the post, Which of 2020's seven lost F1 drivers deserve a chance to return? 4 months ago
Yea, I think this too. Kvyat did actually look quicker than Gasly in Italy and had his long stint ruined. Had he been the one to get the luck and lead the race and get the win and Gasly was stuck where […]
@frood19 But it does rarely make look overtaking easy, given the difficulty of following and staying close behind when entering straights. From last season, only Spa and Algarve are proper examples of what you suggest.

I hate to disappoint in that respect but a knighthood = KBE
Very much part of the same system as the MBE and OBE
