Well, that will do wonders to my weekend schedule. Apparently, for next year, I have a number of Saturdays where I don’t have to arrange my day to watch the qualifying, because there will be no qualifying, just […]
I believe that was a joke, because I don’t see Alonso giving way easily to anyone.
Off course, there is the history with Hamilton, so he may be a little bit more motivated, but that has nothing to do with Max […]
If I were a naughty boy, I’d say Toto put Bottas in the position to make sure Verstappen needs a new engine for the next race as well.
Good thing I’m not a naughty boy.
As I recall from various interviews, the drivers often watch the big screens to see what’s happening in the race. I think they all do it. I guess they are placed in spots where drivers can afford to take a […]
Sainz, Norris and Russell did not get lucky with the conditions. The conditions were the same for everybody but Hamilton failed to take advantage of the drying track through two mistakes of his own.
Norris and Russell, this season’s gifts that keep on giving. I hope next season gives us a grid with several teams fighting for wins, because we have excelent young drivers just waiting to pounce.
Racing incident, same as Monza.
I must wholeheartedly disagree.
There is no right of way on the outside, no claiming of space except what a driver takes away from another driver. Every driver in motorsport will say (and have said so in […]
The only direction this is going is me not watching any part of the weekend except the GP itself. Qualifying is meaningless on Sprint race weekends, and the Sprint race itself is deflating the whole build up to […]
As much as I hope RIC has gotten to grips with the car, let’s not forget that Monza is a special track, with very few corners and many long straights, so it was easier for RIC in the car.
I hope next races do […]
If I'm not wery much mistaken commented on the post, Verstappen given three-place grid penalty for Hamilton crash 1 month ago
Whoever insisted on putting the halo on F1 cars can sleep soundly tonight knowing they made a difference.
Also, in my opinion it was a racing incident and no penalty was required, same as Silverstone.
Racing incident, no penalty required. As was in Silverstone, but for faulty stewarding.
Great win for McL, and on merit.
The racing incident helped, but I think it would’ve still been a McL win and a 2nd or 3rd, even if the pits for VerHam were smoother.
A very entertaining race, possibly the […]
I wouldn’t mind refueling again, at least we’d be back to full speed sprint stints.
No more driving to a delta.
That’s exactly my beef with the sprint race, it somehow makes the Sunday race less special. Good idea about watching the sprint on Sunday before the race, I might also give that a try.
Honestly, I’d rather see them have detachable mud guards (something simple, that could be attached-detached during pit stops) than another Spa “race” debacle.
The dirtiest driver? You seem to imply that every time a driver deliberately bumps another driver he’ll get away with it.
Everytime a passing attempt is made, both drivers choose the intensity of […]
I struggle to come to terms with the concept of a racing driver who should abandon a corner to another driver. I grew up watching Senna and Scumacher, and that’s just not what I’ve come to expect. If two drivers […]
If they come head to head into a tight corner, I don’t see one of them backing off, nor should they. They’re racing drivers, as Hamilton himself said when he an Rosberg colided in ’16. Same mentality here, and we […]
