Stroll’s 4th place last year at Hockenheim was more because he was in last place and had nothing to lose when taking the gamble with slicks. In Monza, he was gifted a race winning position but blew it with a p […]
He’s visiting his mum who’s had an accident and is in hospital – surely that’s kind of a legit reason and less ‘reckless’ than other F1 drivers who attended parties. Speculation of him visiting restaurants and […]

Hmm but wouldn’t that mean that after McLaren receive their 105 place penalty in Belgium on Sat they start 19th and 20th, and the penalty for Vestappen would move him behind the McLarens?

Hmm just wondering why the Singapore Sling couldn’t be a fast flowing left-hander just like Monaco’s Massanet. Massanet doesn’t have any run-off at all either, and it’s a fast 5th gear corner

It will be difficult for Vettel and Grosjean to overtake Hamilton because Hamilton has a 5.5 and 4.9kph straight line speed advantage over them (and the speed trap is only halfway down the front straight)

I think the drivers behind were very close, such that he would probably come out 16th if he pitted in reaction to the safety car, if i’m not wrong, and would not have had enough time to climb up the field. (see the lap chart)

Not working too!
Pole = Hamilton
IsaacTham commented on the post, Vettel continues Suzuka dominance with fourth pole 8 years, 9 months ago
I don’t think Hamilton was 1.1 slower. Remember he went out on Q3 with used softs, and with his fastest sector times he 0.674 slower than Button. If he had put his fresh tyre lap in, could be less than that. And […]
IsaacTham commented on the post, McLaren lock out front row as Ferrari challenge falters 8 years, 10 months ago
Hamilton was in traffic in Q2, and in Q3 he would have improved on his last run if someone was challenging him for pole.
Yes, but I was thinking that high rev limit cars will not reach their rev limit in the race, while low rev limit, high downforce cars like Saubers and Hamilton will. The rev limit has an effect of ‘pulling’ the […]
I think Hamilton’s higher downforce rear wing will help him in the race, particularly with tyre deg and off the line. Also, with a low 7th gear rev limiter, he has it set up for the race with much lower top speeds […]
