@anon thank you, yes i was interested.
I do not think there is anything preventing and F1 team from using the same solution on their cars except that it would put them at a disadvantage to the other teams. […]
well, by far the most efficient engines/power units ever made in history for starters. Also, those kinds of sustainable composites have been in F1 cars for a couple of years in limited applications. I think it […]
haven’t really kept up with it, but i remember at one point the cost to renew a driver’s super-license was done the same way, just with driver’s championship points obviously.
The other question is does this […]
so when was the last time a male driver that’s a DTM back marker or hasn’t been on the podium since Formula Renault UK got a chance at driving an F1 car?
The probability of women reaching the top levels is low because the probably of ANYONE reaching the top levels of racing is low. take a group of 10yr olds in Karting that love it and you’d be lucky if 1 out of […]
Lancer033 commented on the post, The case for changing F1's penalty points system as Gasly nears ban 1 month, 3 weeks ago
The whole point is of this is that drivers/teams would ignore minor rules because the penalties are insignificant. On one wants to see a guy get banned or anything for something small, but when it’s the same guy […]

that’s 2 seasons in a spec cars that didn’t really change. Mick’s problem is that F1 cars are new every year and evolve during the season. If he can’t adapt faster, i really don’t see a future for him in F1.
thanks for posting that, I had to google it and learned something new unrelated to racing today.
do you really think cheating and politics would stop if the factory teams left?? Spend a little time around amateur motorsports when guys have nothing to gain but a little plastic trophy.
if i understand things correctly any spending in a calendar year applies to that year’s spending cap, but an alternative could be to apply the cap to which car they are working on. So work happening now on the […]

I wouldn’t pay that fool to drive a taxi much less a race car
well if your goal is getting more women involved in motorsports, Karting is the place to start. you could get 10x the girls into Karting. Host workshops for girls (say age ~5-10) with little to no experience and […]

At this point i’m not even mad anymore. It’s actually just impressive how Ferrari can always find aways to screw something up and lose out on points

Assuming Inland Revenue is the tax collector in the UK? If so, it’s the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in the states. Any further opinions of them can’t be shared in polite company 🤬
Hmmm……”the throttle stuck” blurted out on the radio or a Ferrari driver taking the party line and accepting the blame for an amateur mistake. Can’t prove either, just saying that one is unlikely for a world […]

Probably more of a comment on the poor quality of reporting over the last few years, but i’ve learned to look up exactly what was said and in what context before a make a judgement on these kinds of stories. It’s […]
I seriously doubt 0 risk is the legal standard or the whole country would be shut down.
Lancer033 commented on the post, Schumacher: New cars make 2022 not a "real second year" for me 7 months, 3 weeks ago
If i’m remembering his junior career correctly, he never adapted quickly to new cars so this isn’t that surprising. In time he’ll come around and be fine but that doesn’t bode will for his future prospects as top […]

there was a radio host here in the US that my dad always listened to growing up that gave a very blunt explanation of his business. I’m old so this was pre-internet days but the likes of facebook and google, it’s […]
