Without safety cars Vettel would have cruised to the chequered flag on his own. If anything, Ricciardo’s chance at having a go at Vettel was a result of luck. Don’t get me wrong though – Ricciardo’s pace was […]
It would be great to see Kimi have a clean weekend in Belgium. The track clearly suits him. Hopefully he can get into the ‘King of Spa’ mode again and give the Mercs a run for their money. The Mercs clearly have […]
The second time in a row Bottas manages to keep a Ferrari behind, even if he had the tire advantage this time and it was Barcelona, a track notorious for its lack of overtaking opportunities. Nice defensive drive […]
The game has changed. Ferrari now seems to have the pace to challenge Mercedes.
Such a great feeling seeing Vettel beat both of the Mercs fair and square. Great recovery drive from Kimi, too. The safety car […]
Don’t you worry, if his car doesn’t fail him in Q3, Perez will take him out in the race.
No but really, I think this just highlights the fact that Kimi requires a car which fits his style of driving. If he has […]
Question is how many cars are going to start from the pit lane.
What happens if a larger number of cars start from the pit lane? It may not happen in COTA, but perhaps in Brazil, which is the race right before Abu Dhabi. Because of the double points it’s crucial not to have […]

I voted for Button. Great weekend for him (and McLaren) all around. At times he was only 3 seconds away from Bottas and it seemed he could give the Williams some pressure.
Boring race. Thought safety car would mix things up a bit, but it really didn’t. Very few overtakes in the top 10, and the ones that happened took place in the last few laps and were down to massive tire advantage.
Rated it 7. Nothing to jump about, but there were some good moments.
Great recovery from Hamilton, Bottas and Ricciardo, all of whom had terrible starts.
To me, Perez was the man of the race. Aggressive & […]
If both of the Mercs get a clean lap in Q3, I’d be extremely surprised to see a Williams ahead of them both. Maybe one of them, but getting ahead of them both requires a near-perfect llap and mistakes from Mercs […]

Kimi’s first time ahead of Alonso this year. He had amazing pace on the softs. Sadly not enough for podium.
Whatever happened to Massa? Did he have issues with the car? Him finishing P13 whilst his teammate is […]
