I would kind of like a far more simple approach to the engine rules.. like..
1. You can use up to 100kg of fuel during a race
2. you can spend no more than £20m on power plant development
3. you get 5 power […]
I honestly think the problem is that Williams couldn’t find a suitable mature driver – If Mercedes was having trouble getting an experienced driver into their second seat it’s got to be next to impossible for […]
Some good racing between Kimi and Max and, honestly, not a lot more.
I heard that there was a somewhat decent battle between Ricciardo and Vettel, but you’d never know based on the feed.. To me this was […]

I actually love this idea.. it would be pretty interesting in practice.. I could see Force India going for the 1 stop H + H strategy and trying to beat the field that way..
Compared to the rest of this season this wasn’t exactly thrilling..
Still there was some genuinely good racing from RBR and Force India. It’s also disappointing to see Ferrari’s lack of pace. I’m hoping that a […]
A wet Monaco could really prove interesting but if we’re expecting dodgy conditions during the race it would be nice to see it during quali as well.
Also.. I’d love to see a changing conditions situation.. […]

This is a tough one..
Vandoor is probably the best choice; Points in the Honda after dropping in with almost no notice.. but…
Grosjean – needs no explanation
Wehrlein – to me getting that Manor car to […]
Another solid race for 2016.
Haas continuing to perform well, Nico showing that he’s a strong driver on his own, Vandoorne scoring a point, Manor in the midfield and, of course, Kimi proving that he’s still a […]
It was a fairly mundane end to a year that has seen some amazing racing in the US, Singapore and Hungary and some that are more forgettable. Such is the ebb and flow of F1, though.
The first lap promised to […]
I gave it a rather generous 7/10.. mainly due to the crowd’s enthusiasm, the track layout and some decent battles in the mid-field.
Lewis might have still been feeling the effects of last week’s celebration as […]
After sticking it out in the rain and mud here in Austin, turned out to be a great race. Even Rossi was legitimately challenging the Sauber for a bit.
Lewis was great, Button was brilliant and Vettel made the […]
Agree – If Red Bull really wants a works engine deal, they should approach a new manufacturer.. I’d add Cosworth to the list of vendors as they supposedly had a turbo power unit in the works last year.
Certainly not one of the better races in terms of results this year – another “2015 standard podium”.
Still, there’s something visceral and satisfying about watching a race on this course. The battles in the […]
would have been a lot better if Vettel, Ricciardo and Raikkonen were closer but there was some great action in the midfield to be sure – especially in the latter half of the race.
Verstappen continues […]

I was thinking the same thing…
Also if Haas has a decent debut – perhaps with JEV? and McLaren Honda get their engine program together the midfield might be quite exciting as well.
6/10 (and that’s being a bit generous). Not nearly as exciting as some earlier races, but still a good race.. hampered by the TV coverage, I’m afraid.
Highlights for me were watching Kimi climb from last place […]
6/10 for me.
All-in-all a solid race and it’s a pleasure to see Lotus on the podium. Some great action in the midfield as well, but with Lewis so dominant and Nico unable to put up much of a challenge it wasn’t […]
Yeah agreed. Hamilton basically just needed to do a single flying lap in Q3 straight away and then box and have a glass of champagne whilst the grid rounded itself out.
After seeing the difference in their […]
