Kim Philby commented on the post, Ferrari is most-improved team year-on-year at halfway point in 2022 1 month ago
Common misconception. In 2017 Ferrari started great and Vettel was in top form while Hamilton had his off days (Russia, Monaco). In the summer the td about oil burning was a blow to Ferrari, evident on all power […]

Kim Philby commented on the post, Verstappen now has as many poles as Leclerc – but six times as many wins 2 months, 2 weeks ago
From the 10 poles that weren’t converted to pole positions:
2 were down to reliability Bahrain 2019 and Spain 2022.
2 were down to strategy Singapore 2019 and monaco 2022
1 Race he didn’t even start Monanco […]Kim Philby commented on the post, China is first country to score points on its debut since the championship began 4 months, 3 weeks ago
The last 1-2 for Ferrari was Hungarian gp 2017.
Kim Philby commented on the post, So much for Abu Dhabi being "done and dusted" 5 months, 1 week ago
If we add Interlagos 2007 Hamilton has now lost 4 titles in the final race of the season which maybe also a record, Schumacher lost 3 (1997,1998,2006) Alonso also 3 (2007,2010,2012)
Kim Philby commented on the post, So much for Abu Dhabi being "done and dusted" 5 months, 1 week ago
For me the ending was perfect, because it had the desired outcome and added to that an exciting finish. So what was for me the desired outcome? Hamilton losing out and Verstappen winning it in a tainted fashion. […]
Kim Philby commented on the post, Which F1 team has the best looking car for 2022? 5 months, 2 weeks ago
Ferrari hands down. Gorgeous in the vein of 640 & 641. After the Ferrari, Alpine is also nice. If I had to vote for the ugliest McLaren all the way.

What if they came up with a F2002?
Kim Philby commented on the post, Ferrari officially unveils new-look F1-75 for 2022 F1 season 6 months ago
It definitely looks the part! What a beast, black is good addition.
Kim Philby commented on the post, McLaren "still have some areas of disadvantage" to top teams – Brown 6 months ago
I don’t understand what it felt like 3rd means. The best part element of the package was the engine and that wasn’t theirs. Mclaren lost a march this year towards getting back to the top, there is hope of course […]

Sure, but it is an unpopular opinion on this site, at least in the end karma spoke.

What you say about Lec is the same thing Marko said.
Kim Philby commented on the post, 2021 F1 driver rankings #6: Fernando Alonso 6 months, 3 weeks ago
So my prediction:
Leclerc (fast as ever but needs to iron out the mistakes)
Norris (break through year, impressive first half)
Hamilton (Too many mistakes, he only hit full stride when Merc bacame the rockeship […]Kim Philby commented on the post, 2021 F1 driver rankings #9: Esteban Ocon 7 months ago
Ocon always struck me as as a dependable, reasonably fast, if a tad uninspiring driver. Better than Gasly but having Alonso as a teammate skews your performance they way Tsunoda flatters it.
Kim Philby commented on the post, 2021 F1 driver rankings #19: Yuki Tsunoda 7 months, 2 weeks ago
The disappointment list isn’t long but Tsunoda is a valued member.
But from those in the list I think he has best potential along with Ricciardo. In the last 7 years we have had a streak of impressive rookies and […]Kim Philby commented on the post, Verstappen's race and title-winning last-lap pass was a unique Formula 1 feat 8 months ago
I have a good one! Hamilton is the first driver ever that enters the final race of the season with a mathematical chance of winning the title and loses out a record 3 times in the same venue! That venue of course […]

Still preferable to Mazepin, Stroll, Latifi. Also Albon got a second chance and I hope Gio will get one also. Another positive thing is that Ferrari racing in WEC in Hypercar and that should be an exciting […]

Kim Philby commented on the post, Ferrari faces one of its toughest races of 2021 at home – Leclerc 11 months, 1 week ago
Ferrari fan here, I always support Ferrari no matter who drives the car but I disagree that the drivers are part of the problem. Ferrari fought hard in 2017 and 2018 and I believe that had Alonso been that car […]

Boo them all you want! Cheer for them all you want! We are here for the racing not politics. Hooliganism and Racism should never be tolerated but beyond that every one is free to express himself.
