I wonder if anyone else will admit they were wrong about the incident. I’ll wait.
@krichelle But we know that qualifying is all-important in Monaco. It’ll do them no good to be best in race trim when it’s impossible to pass.
Sounds like they were intentionally keeping Checo in the dark for a lot of the race.
Funny that no one has really talked about the fact that Lewis actually effectively ran a 2-stop race.
Good thing we now have VAR so the stewards can leave the decisions to the drivers anyway.
New RD just trying to draw a distinction between himself and the previous guy as well as mark his territory early.

There is no reason for the FIA to treat this in the same manner as DAS and only allow it for one season. The justification for banning DAS was that they didn’t want teams spending a ton on trying to copy it. Well […]

Funny how adamant he was that he would never return to F1 if he couldn’t fight for wins. Just goes to show you that no matter what any driver says about racing in other series they would all jump at the chance to […]
@scbriml I’m glad someone noticed that wording.
Seems like some people were expecting NASCAR style bump drafting from the new cars.
@hahostolze Had Masi red flagged the race no one would be complaining and he’d probably still be the race director.
Color me shocked.
I watch for both the human and engineering elements. IndyCar already exists for those who want to see more human and less engineering contributions. Why try to recreate it in another series?

Why does everyone want to turn F1 into Indycar? It already exists.

I’m surprised there was no mention of Bayer stating that had Mercedes followed through with their appeal the courts would have ruled that Masi had failed to follow the rules. That’s a pretty damning admission.

LOL! Gotta love Lando.
Are they waiting until tomorrow to decide if they should investigate? And then if they do open an investigation will they wait until the following day to determine the outcome? Or maybe they’ll wait until the following week.
@nickthegreek I had the same thought. Talk about hypocrisy. And he probably said all that with a straight face.
