This is great news. This can only serve to accelerate the progress of electrification to quickly fill the roles that are most amenable to the technology.
If governing bodies want to obligate athletes to participate in press briefings then make it a specifically contracted requirement with a dollar value associated with it. If any athlete doesn’t want to participate […]

It was pretty obvious that this wasn’t intentional. However, I do feel that any red flag in Q3 should allow teams on track to pit and at least be given the chance to complete one flying lap. They’ll still be […]
Christian is starting to sound very nervous. Almost like he can foresee Max jumping ship or something.

You’ve said all that needs to be said.
Helmut has some dirt on someone.
What major repairs? They only needed to replace the front wing.
@aliced that’s why if it’s not paved it has to be punitive. Like rumble strips or preferably molten lava.
There should be no such thing as track limits. It should be asphalt and everything else. If a driver wants to leave the pavement let them. If there’s no wall or gravel or grass or molten lava pits it should be […]

You’re right. RBR should just quit now and stick to selling heart attacks in a can.
Granted the Mercedes was having lots of issues keeping its rear end in line, like many of us do from time to time, I find it somewhat odd that they were also losing significant time to the Red Bull on the straight […]
This all becomes moot if FE cars become faster than F1 cars with close to equivalent range.
I rooted hard for Haas to be successful when they first joined the grid. But every year like them less and dislike them more.
The gnashing of teeth up and down the paddock just went into overdrive. If nothing else the Mercedes gang really know how psyche out the competition.

Kyvat has more lives than a cat.
They may reason that by eliminating one or two practice sessions in favor or a sprint race there is no reason to add any extra allowance.
While I’m not wholly sold on the the idea of sprint races for setting the grid I’m all for firing bullets before cannonballs. A three race trial should be good enough to assess the viability of the idea.
