And Massa’s right? This rule is an incredible overreach. Cars this year are so complex that almost all drivers experience at least one significant software / mechanical issue at some point during the weekend. […]
Prateek727 commented on the post, Team radio ban to cut driver assistance 8 years, 4 months ago
I think a good way to reduce these kinds of team radio messages would be to enforce a numerical limit (say, 5) on the number of messages from the engineer to the driver. Note that this limit would apply only in […]
Prateek727 commented on the post, Should Raikkonen get penalty for Silverstone crash? 8 years, 6 months ago
For the most part, I think Kimi deserved a penalty. You can understand why any driver would be keen to rejoin the circuit in a hurry, but the angle of re-entry was neither parallel enough nor oblique enough for […]
Prateek727 commented on the post, Should Raikkonen get penalty for Silverstone crash? 8 years, 6 months ago
Everyone’s been saying this, but I think it’s unlikely that drivers who did walk the track would have paid much attention to (or recall during the race) that bump given how unlikely it is for cars to be off-track […]

It definitely appears that the consensus among users here is that it was a genuine mistake. I thought the same, until I heard Rosberg’s explanation of the error to Natalie. He said it was a simple matter of […]
Prateek727 commented on the post, New louder exhaust "didn't work" – Rosberg 8 years, 8 months ago
That’s hardly the point though. It’s merely coincidental that the less aesthetic engineering solutions don’t seem to be working as well and may soon phase themselves out. (A fact which the performance of Red Bull […]

Hands up, how many people decrying the attempts to improve the sound as ‘artificial’ also disagree with changing the aero regulations to make the finger noses go away? Both scenarios involve the ‘artificial’ […]

This may be a dumb question but isn’t the resolution you see limited by the pixel resolution of your display? That is, if my monitor is 720×420, is there any noticeable difference between 4k ultra hd and blurry […]

Seeing Hamilton playing around with Google Glass, it’s hard not to wonder how long it is before we see drivers using such technology to overlay vital information through their helmet visors. It can’t be too […]

Imagine if parallel universe where Red Bull had an electronics engineer who was male. Now honestly tell me whether you see Vettel saying something like “It’s great that Philip is up here on […]

Expecting all women to fit into and comply with a particular nurturing role does not elevate them to a higher position, it prevents them from expressing aspects of their personality that are perfectly normal and […]
Prateek727 commented on the post, Massa's punctures caused by debris, say Pirelli 9 years, 9 months ago
@malleshmagdum No, I don’t think Vettel was implying any sexual innuendo when he said that Gill ‘takes care of the boys’. But he was projecting a kind of nurturing role upon her which seems perhaps more suited to […]

+1. This was an important symbolic milestone for women in F1, entirely ruined by Vettel’s awful, sexist ‘jokes’

Was at the race last night. Connaught Drive was being used a spectators walkway. Definitely much too narrow in its current state. Width would need (at the very least) to be doubled.

A hugely competivite grid with 4-5 different teams vying for victory in each race.

Ferrari renew Massa’s contract for another year.
