rampante commented on the post, Why Hamilton deserves to be a three-times champion 6 years, 9 months ago
Whether you like him or not he has 3 titles and that demands much respect. He can certainly drive, he can race and he makes the odd mistake. This is a site with a majority of UK F1 fans and still he gets a hard […]

Bit off topic but why no mention about the anniversary of the death of Ferrari in the “on this day”? He was quite involved in the sport.
rampante commented on the post, "Tough road ahead" after losing Bianchi – Hamilton 7 years ago
Keith, The accident was tragic, I don’t doubt that, but it happened because Bianchi was going too fast. It happened and thankfully it’s only the first death since Senna. If safety had not improved as it had many […]

Canada usually produces good races but remember no more than 10 cars have finished on the same lap in 15 years. most races have finished with less than 7.

and Williams became one of the best teams in the sport. They moved on the others didn’t. Do you really want to remember Lola, Life, Fondmetal, Lamborghini, MasterCard Lola, Pacific, Onyx, Eurobrun need I go on and […]

A season with no more than 5 good drivers and row 10 are 6 sec off the pace. Teams with no place in F1.
rampante commented on the post, Rosberg will have to get creative to beat Hamilton 7 years, 2 months ago
Are mounting rockets to his car being ‘creative’ enough?
rampante commented on the post, Strategy Group: Why nothing is better than something 7 years, 3 months ago
F1 is a sport and must be run as such. The egalitarian rubbish that has poisoned the sport for many years has to go. The owners (CVC) need to take less of a cut and teams should be given much more flexibility. […]
rampante commented on the post, Should engine performance in F1 be equalised? 7 years, 4 months ago
Without question no. Absolutely no. If you steal a lead well done, it’s up to the others to catch up. It used to be called innovation, that is what the sport is based on. If you are within the rules I take my hat off to you.
rampante commented on the post, Alonso impressed by Honda's "scientific approach" 7 years, 6 months ago
Honda have hardly been successful in their last 20 or so years. I still can’t see where all the optimism comes from. I think if they finish in the mid field it has to be seen as a success for their first year […]
rampante commented on the post, Ten things we want to know about the 2015 F1 season 7 years, 7 months ago
I may be an old fart who has followed this sport for too long but can I please ask where the optimism for the Honda power unit is coming from? McLaren have not exactly produced for many years and Honda have not […]
rampante commented on the post, Rosberg edges Hamilton and clinches pole trophy 7 years, 9 months ago
It helps having 19 races and not 7 as there have been in the past. All these types of comparison are out the window due the number of races. Hamilton has the most victories of any UK driver. He is very very good […]
rampante commented on the post, Caterham seeks £2.35m crowdfund to make return 7 years, 9 months ago
A disgrace, nothing else. Teams come and go and some achieve nothing like Caterham have. They have no right to be in F1 and to now ask the fans to pay is nothing short of embarrassing. Leave now and stop the shame […]

Excellent article and while the regulations were changed to “improve the show” cars sounded like this….

they say that 2 negatives don’t make a positive. In Scotland the expression is eye right! He is a great racer but today he showed he’s nothing more than a petulant child. You were beaten fair and square

I may be a sad old F1 fan of more than 40 years but as difficult as it is with this format I am struggling with it. If it couldn’t get more artificial it will now. What was wrong with engines producing sound. I am […]
rampante commented on the post, Why Ferrari's 'fans poll' findings can't be trusted 8 years, 4 months ago
Ferrari, Williams and McLaren have not won anything for a few years but they are still there. I waited 21 years for my team to win and stuck it out because they did. Red Bull have not won for 2 races and the boss […]
rampante commented on the post, Why Ferrari's 'fans poll' findings can't be trusted 8 years, 4 months ago
My issue is with the singling out of Ferrari. Many polls have been made but this one is highlighted. The question was simple yes or no, not technical or subjective just a simple yes or no. It is difficult for […]

rampante commented on the post, Ferrari put two roosters in their hen house 8 years, 11 months ago
Thankfully F1 is not conducted in a play ground. Alonso is quoted in Italy as being happy with the appointment and the challenge. Raikkonen much the same. Can it only be in the UK one is accused of being a […]
