Anyone interested in starting this back up? It’s been about 4 months since our last round.

@Toti
A bit disappointed with the turnout, but you did give me an excellent route. Congrats, you’re up.Jason replied to the topic Track designing contest in the forum

Let’s try another TT course. Think, Isle of Man, but for cars. I want a course that is 15+km in length. It does not have to loop…start and finish can be in different places as long as there is a large car park nearby for staging/storage/etc. The only real guideline is that every inch of the course must be driveable and be wide enough for ove…[Read more]

Prince George. Last used in 1966(?), and even started out as a 24km epic tour of East London. Track significantly shortened in 1959 but was deemed too short. Redesign leaves the original S/F and Pits in place, and increases the total length from 3.8km and 8 turns to 4.8km and 17 turns. Sector One feels a bit…[Read more]

Decided for the Figure-8 option. Know this location well and thought it would be fun to have the S/F and the pits on a bridge.

– 4.2km, Clockwise, Somewhere between 19-22 turns, depending on how you count them.
– S/F and Pit lane along the harbor
– Feels like Singapore, but wider! This might make a really cool night race!Jason replied to the topic Track designing contest in the forum

@toti What are your rules about modifications? Can I run through a sidewalk cafe, or take down some trees? I found lots of nice open streets but there are curbs and trees in the way. There are so many roads here only 6m wide! Frustrating!

I admit I had to look up where “Palma de Mallorca” is located…I have never heard of the place. Now that I see it, I am mesmerized by the possibilities! Thanks @toti!

@Toti take it away! I liked how you had different challenges along the way. A lot of straight pieces. A lot of curvy pieces.

This thread has been moving pretty slow lately, so I think I’ll give this a full week. Plus, it’s kind of a long challenge.
