In the US and Canada and China they have been growing big and will continue to do so. India is next. Hybrids are great and will dominate the more rural areas, including in the countries listed.

That isn’t practical for racing. Internal combustion engines make the most sense for motorsports. With the small scale of their use this isn’t a problem. The problem is only the insistence by some that the […]

Does anyone know what they mean by ‘sustainable fuel’? Hopefully this doesn’t mean biofuels which displace land for food crops or forests?

I suspect they are winning races in the second half of the season. I would bet each Merc driver wins a race by the end of the season. I don’t think Lewis is going to make up the points deficit to Russell though.

I highly doubt that whoever replaces Ricciardo will beat Norris. I think Lando makes the McLaren seem like a better car than it is which makes it seem Ricciardo is doing worse than he is.
Maybe in his second […]

Put him out of his misery please. Put me out of this misery… it’s been a hugely disappointing number of years since he left Red Bull. McLaren should be ahead of renault this year and should have beat ferrari […]

They aren’t asking you to prefer some other beer, music, politics, girls, etc., they are asking that you pay attention to hugely significant world problems that wouldn’t BE problems if people paid attention to […]

It means the opposite actually. Woke as in awoken to societal injustices especially regarding racism. Seb’s brand of activism isn’t really wokeness. I see it more as pragmatic call to action while we can still […]

I think it’s that people don’t like to be reminded that they are watching tele and scrolling the tiktocks while the world crumbles. It makes them feel bad about themselves and that’s why they think they are being […]

I’m shocked to read so many comments reacting negatively to Vettel’s activist statements. We have some serious problems in the world and governments are not paying attention to them. People with a platform have […]

ryanoceros commented on the post, 'A shame', 'just about money': F1 drivers fear Spa's next grand prix will be its last 1 week ago
It’s because there are other countries that have been very naughty that are willing to spend tens of millions of dollars to F1 to hold an event. Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi alone probably bring more money in than a […]

I agree that the spa – monza sequence is the most interesting of the year and what I looked forward to most.
I am afraid after a few more years under the current owners F1 will have little in common with what it […]ryanoceros commented on the post, 'A shame', 'just about money': F1 drivers fear Spa's next grand prix will be its last 1 week, 2 days ago
F1 (liberty media) doesn’t make money holding races in places like Spa like they do in corrupt countries like Saudis Arabia, China, etc. The fees these countries pay to whitewash their reputations are massive a […]

Yeah that’s the point. American corporations are greedy and the Saudis understand greed as well as anyone. Have you seen their palaces? Trashy displays of affluence at the cost of the well-being of an entire country.

If George was in Checo’s position he would be complaining even more intensely.
