I was surprised we didn’t see the race finish under a SC or VSC after the KMag incident. If anyone else had suffered the same sort of brake failure (and if they did, it would almost surely occur at T12 also, even […]
Let’s assume Ferrari weren’t doing anything, but speculate on what they could have been ;)
A lot of coverage of this issue seem to suggest that Ferrari have been using wire proximity to somehow interfere with […]

My wife and I are going to COTA for the first time this year. We picked seats near the top of the turn 9 grandstand, which seemed a good balance of price and circuit coverage. We’ll definitely…[Read more]
Enjoyed this at the British Grand Prix last year. It was pricey, and the device did run out of battery each day (you could swap for a fully-charged unit easily though), but it was awesome for adding the context […]

Is anyone aware of a guide to watching at Monaco? The grandstand seats seem less favorable than the right hotel rooms and balconies, but I’d have no idea where to begin looking for those.
All well and good! The optics are poor though. Perhaps adding a 5-10 second “no touch time” before any pitstop conducted while the VSC is deployed could neutralize this.

Arrived at Jean-Drapeau via Metro at ~7:40am; within the first 40 people to arrive.
Transfer via bus started at dead on 9:00am.
First drivers came out to sign around 9:45am.
After the bus transfer I was…[Read more]

I’m similarly a displaced Brit (though currently in Detroit, Michigan). 2014 Canadian Grand Prix was my first time in Montreal, and it’s a fabulous city! Very excited to be visiting for a longer stay this time.
Not sure how much detail you’re looking for. Here’s the official overview of locations:
Here are some other resources that provide a bit more info on sections, for grandstands where that makes a big…[Read more]
