Whatever you’ve gotta tell yourself. If the roles were reversed I doubt Max and Spiceboy would be gracious as Sir Lewis and Toto have been.

US_Peter commented on the post, I ate Hamilton's meat-free burgers: Here's my verdict 3 years, 8 months ago
I haven’t eaten Beyond Meat myself, but from everything I’ve read from people I trust, it’s waaay overly salty, mealy, and generally not great. They’d be better off getting Impossible Meat, which is genuine […]

Charlatans rather.

US_Peter commented on the post, Haas sponsor Rich Energy unconcerned by legal row over logo 4 years, 3 months ago
What is it about F1 that attracts so many charlatains? What was the name of that guy who kept saying he was gonna buy Lotus F1 from Genii Capital and that he was gonna prove all the naysayers wrong? This has […]

US_Peter commented on the post, Full F1 TV Pro launch delayed, limited beta test planned for first race of 2018 5 years, 2 months ago
This all sounds awful. The new CGI theme song is awful. They’re trying so hard to make F1 more exciting they’re going to do exactly the opposite.

US_Peter commented on the post, Hamilton warns Mercedes starting to 'buckle' under pressure 7 years ago
Lol, yes I’m sure Bernie is going to ask to meet with jailed activists in Baku as soon as he arrives. He’ll get right on that.

US_Peter commented on the post, Haas chassis 'probably better than Ferrari's' 7 years, 7 months ago
LOL! Hamilton in a Laugherrari! Must have really raised some eyebrows in Stuttgart. Also, that has got to go down as the single dumbest name of any car ever.

US_Peter commented on the post, Tricky track and weather to keep drivers guessing 7 years, 7 months ago
I agree as well. The old style long stint lap comparison charts were a regular part of my pre race reading material. Without the ability to switch drivers on and off they’re infinitely less informative and […]

US_Peter commented on the post, Vote for your 2015 United States Grand Prix Driver of the Weekend 7 years, 7 months ago
Me too, and what’s interesting is that my friend who took me to the race was telling me beforehand that I’d be able to pick out differences in driving style much more easily in person than watching at home on TV. […]

US_Peter commented on the post, Mercedes dominance is F1's biggest problem – Button 7 years, 7 months ago
Just taking off from Denver on leg two of my flight to Houston, where hopefully the plane will be able float in to a nice landing so I can make it to COTA tomorrow morning for my first live F1 experience. I must […]

US_Peter commented on the post, Flood warnings in Texas ahead of F1 weekend 7 years, 7 months ago
I just hope it’s not so wet we just get a bunch of safety car running. I’m finally attending my first race, so I hope to see some racing. I was initially bummed that I’ll only be there on race day, but now it […]

@illusive I assume you’re quoting the $16bn figure from this Sylt article: http://www.forbes.com/sites/csylt/2015/05/31/f1-revenue-accelerates-past-fifas-to-16-2-billion/ which if you read carefully is referring […]

US_Peter commented on the post, 'There's no place for democracy anywhere' says Ecclestone as he hails Blatter and Putin 7 years, 7 months ago
The US certainly has its faults, but one thing Bernie want to take a look at more closely and try to understand is how our sports leagues are set up. They’re far more profitable than even Formula 1, and ironically […]

US_Peter commented on the post, Alexander Rossi to replace Roberto Merhi at Manor for five races 7 years, 8 months ago
But pulling off impressive moves isn’t really going to be too feasible in a Manor, as he’ll only be racing against his team mate and the blue flags… So to me this is clearly designed to get him seat time and […]

US_Peter commented on the post, Concerns new 2017 rules will raise costs further 7 years, 8 months ago
LOL, a complete overhaul of the technical regs might increase costs? How many geniuses in one boardroom has it taken for them to figure that out? Might it also result in one team getting the jump on everyone else, […]

Another reason it may actually be better to have tires that eventually drop off in performance…

US_Peter commented on the post, "Good chance" Monza will lose F1 race – Ecclestone 7 years, 9 months ago
I doubt there are many casual fans that are particularly excited about his presence in the sport either. I’m sure he’ll be missed by some within the sport when he’s gone, but the sport will certainly be better for it.

US_Peter commented on the post, Ricciardo staying at Red Bull in 2016 – Horner 7 years, 10 months ago
Regarding COTD… by that point Vettel had a huge gap over the Mercs, and a sizable gap over Räikkönen as well, so it’s doubtful he was pushing as hard as he could have. But then again maybe he was. It’s […]
