HI this will be our 3rd trip to the Hungagoring, We love it there. This time we will sit in Gold 1. Previous years we have sat in the Redbull grandstand but its been moved slightly now.
Yes the pitwalk is around 4pm on the Thursday and it can be very hot! No free buses run that day so you have to take the train and its a fair walk to the track entrance so take lots of water with you.

After the race the pit straight is opened up for fans to invade the track, however it doesnt stay opened too long ,say an hour or so and then the police come move you off the circuit.

There are also normally something on at the castle area in Budapest. The 1st year we went Coulthard was driving his redbull around the castle !

We always take food and drink with us to the drink, it’s never been a problem, just don’t take and glass bottles.
