Webbo commented on the post, Two-day weekend format isn't suitable for every grand prix – Wolff 5 months ago
New drinking game: drink every time DC says either ‘indeed’, ‘gonnae’ or uses yoda-like phasing such as “it’s a much faster one, the lap”
Webbo commented on the post, 'We aren't seeing the real Sebastian Vettel at the moment' – Horner 7 months, 3 weeks ago
This kind of argument always amuses me. You’re reading the comments section of raceFANS.net, not an analysis by raceBOSS.net
Looking to the weather for a change in performance?
I should try that one on my next review at work.
Webbo commented on the post, Ocon: February testing cut "a big problem" for some drivers 1 year, 4 months ago
We NEED that drone footage in F1, even if they don’t fly over the track itself for safety, just round the run-offs. Sooo much better than the helicopter and trackside statics!

The penultimate sentence.
Webbo commented on the post, Too much information? Why F1 is adding yet more TV graphics 1 year, 5 months ago
The rolling speed graphics are largely pointless when comparing rivals. I’d rather see a peak speed per straight and apex per corner side-by-side.
Webbo commented on the post, Bottas praises Mercedes upgrades after leading Friday practice 1 year, 6 months ago
@keithcollantine why do you say using mph is dumbing-down? It’s merely a local preference, kph means nothing to brits or americans. I agree it’s cluttered, but i’d rather see both than just kph, or 2 broadcasts […]
Webbo commented on the post, Ferrari told Vettel five times he would have to let Leclerc by 1 year, 6 months ago
“Vettel surprises fans, team, team-mate by behaving like Vettel” would be my headline.
The only thing stopping people liking it or being so surprised is his tendency to feign ignorance in interviews… If he […]
Webbo commented on the post, Leclerc accepts he 'over reacted' on radio and will 'shut up' in future 1 year, 6 months ago
Agreed. So the people criticising LEC will now get fewer passionate driver radio comments. Slow clap.
+lots. Perfect, especially having something to fight for in q2
Webbo commented on the post, The only thing the black-and-white flag adds is confusion 1 year, 7 months ago
Under the banner of “let them race”, I’d like to see racing under the guidelines of “no harm, no foul”, but if there is harm of any sort, the offending driver can only finish behind any car they have harmed.
Webbo commented on the post, One-shot qualifying the only solution to out-lap problems – Grosjean 1 year, 7 months ago
Reasonable, yes. But so is starting 5mm outside the grid box no performance advantage… Yet we accept that it’s worthy of punishment.
Webbo commented on the post, Liberty Media wants "high-profile US team" to join Formula 1 1 year, 8 months ago
I actually really like the idea of a single oval round; its a different skillset, tech challenge, strategy.
They could techpro every turn if it meant it was possible.
Webbo commented on the post, No knee-jerk rules change following outcry over Vettel penalty – Masi 1 year, 9 months ago
I think there should be an element of justice rather than limited time penalties to the punishments, so if you punt or push someone off or skip the track with 4 wheels, you will finish behind them regardless of […]
Webbo commented on the post, Russell hopes Zandvoort keeps gravel run-off for F1 1 year, 11 months ago
I may be being naive here but how hard would it really be to tarmac a run off area or just a strip in line with the breaking zones in case of a failure and then dump and spread loads of gravel back over that for […]
