I have always felt this way too. It is why I am so interested in the WEC, as so much more innovation seems to be taking place there. Just look at the Nissan entry. It breaths flames out of the bonnet in front of […]

An industrial designer did this and it is not really a cock-up. Google Daniel Simon or Scott Robertson for a clearer understanding of what’s involved here.
This design is a staple for any industrial or […]

Foxtel already offer Foxtel Play, a online streaming only service, on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, PC and Mac. Is this what you are referring to?
I have been using it for a year for sport. $50 a month – great value, […]

OK. I value watching sport. I want it presented well with as detailed coverage as possible. I believe that Foxtel will bring that. It will cost me $720 this year to enjoy all the sport I want. I follow:

It appears that Foxtel has now secured the rights to F1 in Australia. The deal will be similar to the BBC/Sky deal with only half of the races being shown live on free to air television via Channel Ten. At least they will all be available in HD now. I hope that they will be ad-free. This costs AUD$600/yr (add $120 for HD). Initial setup costs are…[Read more]

Hopefully WEC will come along and pick up some contracts with the older circuits. Today’s WEC story about Nissan and the Superbowl ad shows how WEC is powering ahead and engaging with fans.
Let F1 have it’s oil […]

Yeah, the timing does strike me as odd. It is public knowledge Michael Schumacher wanted the 191… but Eddie Jordan was reluctant to sell. I wonder how much Schumi’s accident and injury played into Eddie’s decision.

@hohum But if RBR have already won the WCC, won’t they be taking maximum prize money anyway for finishing first? Or is there an advantage for RBR to try to get as many points as possible?
Xander commented on the post, No complaints from Webber over tyre strategy 8 years, 9 months ago
@silence Mate, I agree. But, consider that if RBR one-two the next 3 GPs, that extra 129 points will cost the team US$774,000. I am making the point that points don’t necessarily just mean more money. They cost money too.

US$120,000off next year’s entry fee.EDIT – US$108,000.

It does cost the winning constructor US$6000 per championship point (on top of the US$500,000 base fee) as an entry fee for the 2014 season though.
You want to win the world championship by as few points as […]
