Pirelli will bring the softest available tyre selection for the final Formula 1 race of 2018 at Yas Marina.
The sport’s official tyre supplier has now announced all of its tyre selections for this year. Its most regularly chosen tyre was the soft, which was selected for 17 of the 21 races.The hard tyre made a single appearance at Silverstone and the ‘back-up’ super-hard tyre was not nominated for any races. The company’s other new tyre for 2018, the hyper-soft, was nominated for six races.
The most frequently chosen tyre combination was the medium, soft and super-soft, which was chosen for six different races.
