Jordan King: "There's a lot going on in my head. The incident's playing on repeat. I'm not going to comment on the exact details, I have got my own reservations of what happened. But these cars are built as safe as can be, they are as strong as they can be. It was a coincidence of a knock-on of three or four incidents that ended up at the final result. I'm not going to speculate or comment much more on the incident itself."
Romain Grosjean: "I think this weekend has showed some of the weakness we have, but that’s good as we have a very clear vision of where we need to go for the future – that’s the positive part. On the more negative side, I think our race pace isn’t there, so I’m a bit worried for tomorrow."
"Following poor first runs from both cars due to an issue with Dany’s car, and Pierre struggling with tyre temperatures, there was no opportunity to improve with the second runs due to the red flag. "
"We always knew that Spa would be a challenge for us and so it has proved. Although we will find ourselves further up the starting grid tomorrow due to a variety of penalties, it will nonetheless be a difficult race for both drivers."

"Should de Vries’ expected appointment be confirmed next month it remains unclear if Gary Paffett will be given another role with the team."

Comment of the day
Many of you left expressions of condolence for Anthonine Hubert following yesterday’s terrible events:
That’s so shocking, I don’t even have the words to describe my feelings.
It’s an important reminder that motorsport is extremely dangerous and we mustn’t ever stop to improve safety for all the people involved.
RIP Antoine Hubert.

What is the orange housing atop the roll hoop on the Indy cars? Is it a camera, like in F1, or something else?
Nice tribute from the IndyCar drivers.

It is a camera.
In Indycar, the camera unit can rotate, that’s why it’s shaped differently
