@mnmracer: always difficult to give grades without taking the quality of the car into account. Therefore I first scrolled down to see how the Caterham and the Marussia drivers were ranked. Strange to see Bianchi awarded with a 7 and Pic with a 4. Was the Caterham that much better?

@matt90 I think it’s fair to say that Austria and Switzerland are basically German, as they speak dialects of German, but are separate, a bit unlike in the way how Scotland and Wales were separate countries that got dissolved into the UK, now mostly being Anglicised. But obviously we have Celtic vs. Frisian (Anglo-Saxon) language offshoots here, which are totally separate languages and branches. But the above is hence why I always thought that Hitler invaded Austria first, to ‘re-unite a greater Germany’ to some sort of effect. I think Hitler himself was Austrian as well. Austria, like Belgium, is only a recent entity to replace monarchs and states., Belgium being made up of half-French and half-Dutch territory, along with some Luxembourg (German!). But Webber is in effect driving for a ‘home team’ there.

@matthijs Probably once their updates came in mid-season, they were then on the upper hand over Marussia (and once the old tyres came back Marussia’s performance fell away). But Bianchi managed to still match the Caterhams at some of the recent races, while Pic fell away to an improving VDG.
