    Official from Lotus themselves. Does this leave the likes of Senna and Grosjean out of a race seat next year, or will Petrov be booted out?

    I still think this is a risk by Renault. Kimi’s like a box of chocolates.

    Autosport has a piece about it on their website. Although heavily trailed this still comes as a big surprise to me, though not as big as if he’d returned to Williams. My prediction is that he’ll have a tough season and be bested by Petrov.

    BTW 2012 will have all champions of the last 12 years on the grid.

    Further thought: does this mean Rubens lives to drive another day? I think he’ll stay at Williams.

    Rubens’s seat is safer though not a given. Williams still have him, Bottas, Sutill, Maldonado, and maybe even Hulkenberg to choose from to fill their two race seats.
