ParticipantWith so many racetracks of new and old around, I ask you this: which 15-or-so racetracks would make up your ideal racing season? They don’t all have to be F1 tracks, nor do they have to exist any more. But what would make up your dream season? I shall start. For circuits with multiple layouts, please state which layout is used (i.e. for Silverstone, you could use the current National, International, Grand Prix, MotoGP layouts, or any previous layout like the pre-2010 layout).
1. Mount Panorama Circuit
2. Sepang International Circuit
3. Suzuka Circuit – Full
4. Twin Ring Motegi Road Course
5. Circuit of the Americas
6. Indianapolis Motor Speedway (the oval)
7. Interlagos (1979 layout)
8. Silverstone Circuit (current layout)
9. Brands Hatch Grand Prix
10. Circuit de Spa-Franchorchamps (layout prior to current one)
11. Circuit de la Sarthe (Current, full)
12. Circuit de Monaco (Current)
13. Nurburgring 24-hr Layout
14. Hockenheimring (pre-2002 Layout)
15. Istanbul ParkFor me, these are the tracks I enjoy racing around the most on various games. Although I’ve only ever seen videos on YouTube of the old Interlagos, it looks pretty good nonetheless. All those tracks would be pretty neat to drive around in an LMP, although I know those types of cars will never go around a lot of those circuits.

ParticipantIn no particular order:
Spa-Francorchamps
Circuit de la Sarthe (the modern layout with the chicanes on the Mulsanne)
Hungaroring (don’t know what it is about this track but I found the recent races good, despite the difficulties in overtaking)
Circuit Gilles Villeneuve
COTA
Suzuka
Monza
Road Atlanta/Laguna Seca (alternating)
Istanbul Park
Silverstone/Donington (alternating)
Circuit de Catalunya (but the old configuration where it’s a high speed final turn onto the pit straight)
Interlagos
Imola
Nurburgring27th March 2014, 9:11 at 9:11 am #254022the_donz
ParticipantI think I’d have to normalise the calendar, I don’t like all the undesirable travel between events. Start at Australia, then go to the next closest event. Splitting up the races into geographical groups would help, Europe, america, mid east etc. But if F1 really wants to be green then it needs to look at all aspects of its ‘sport’
With that in mind I’d do
Australia
Singapore
Malaysia
China
Japan
Canada
US
Brazil
Spain
Britain
Germany
Austria
Monaco
Italy
Hungary
Russia
Bahrain
