So? Vettel couldn’t have finished higher either, so they both get maximum possible results for them in this race. BUt in the end Max gained only 4 places in the race while Vettel gained 10.

Meh. Going from 8th to 4th isn’t much of an achievement compared to Vettel’s P13 to P3 drive.
Max was good but Vettel was better. -

Tyres could be overheated if you were behind someone for a long time? Then why was Bottas was behind a much slower RIC and Perez for a long time in a much superior car? Vettel passed Perez very fast when Perez’s […]

Bottas spent a ridiculous amount of times passing RIC and Perez while Vettel passed Perez over 1 lap. Williams were faster than Ferrari in quali, so I don’t know why he shoud get the creadit for qualifying. […]

Colin commented on the post, Rosberg's misfortune brings Hamilton within touching distance of title 7 years, 8 months ago
The only conclusion we can draw is that Rosberg and Kimi have been less than impressive for their respective cars while their teammates drove like champions. Vettel is already beating Williams all by himself.

Not to mention that Vettel needed to be lower than a certain WDC standing to break the contract with RBR last year. He’s a smart lad for sure.

I’m not convinced, either.

Colin commented on the post, Button says he'll be "happy next year" but isn't ready to announce plans 7 years, 8 months ago
That really feels odd. It feels like only yesterday people were talking about the mega rookie Lewis and STR’s baby-Schumi. Now they’re among the most experienced drivers on the grid. So weird.

Yes. RB have no right to bully F1.

Strictly speaking, STR had more points in 2008 if we convert the points into the new point system.

Unbelievable weekend from Vettel. He’s the king of Singapore. That pole lap alone deserves it.

Classy, clever drive from Vettel. Good drive from Ricciardo. Classy podium.

Colin commented on the post, Vettel flies to pole as Ferrari and Red Bull beat Mercedes 7 years, 8 months ago
Last year’s Merc pole here was very bad, the lap poor and scruffy, not a total domination like it usually is.

Yeah, Ferrari always quite liked this track. But 5 years…Wow.

Nice try @patrickl. It seems you didn’t watch F1 in 2010 and didn’t see that he had the word MONZA sewn under his helmet in Abu Dhabi 2010 in honor of his first F1 win. Monza was always special to him.

“Ferrari was a handful in damp conditions,”
Ferrari? Or her drivers? Neither Kimi nor Massa are known for being good in rain.
