If anybody has two Gold 5 tickets and they are not going to the Bryan Adams concert, then I would be happy to meet you at the end of the race and buy them off of you?
I know it is probably too early to guess the weather but it’s showing mid to high twenties which will be a welcome break from the British weather! But I hate to say it, there is some GOD DAMN RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So all the Brits that are going, if we all pray hard enough every day for the next two weeks God might take pity on us and spare us more rain before we evolve webbed feet!Jump on the overland HEV train from Ors vezer ter (station in Budapest city center) to Gödöllői (train number is H8), get off at Mogyorod. Takes half an hour and costs about 4 quid (if that!). Then a bit of a hike to the circuit from there (allow an hour for a couple of 5 minute rests in the heat aka. beer breaks). This makes it all the more sweeter when you get to the Hungaroring, plus it’s a laugh. If walking a little bit isn’t your thing, then you can always queue a few hours for the free bus and get crammed into an oven on wheels (not recommended in 35-40 Celsius!)
Just a quick head count, who is camping? In particular how many are camping at the Panorama campsite? Would like to get a group meet and a bit of atmosphere if possible. We will be flying the British Flag & the Mclaren flag by our tent, so feel free to come and say hello (even Ferrari & Red Bull fans!).
Me and a mate are going, we have got 3 Corner Gold tickets, so we will have different views over the weekend. Gold 1 on race day should be good for the grid line up. We are camping at Panorama from Thursday onwards. I hear it’s a bit of a walk from the train station, which is fine as we will have a beer stop every 10 minutes ;) Is anyone else camping as we would like to meet up with people to kick back with after the days events on the circuit? My money is on Hamilton to win…..possibly….if Vettel retires!
