It’s pathetic how so many of the GP2 threads on this site end up with people insulting Jolyon Palmer. I have to wonder how many of the people who make such comments actually watch GP2 and not just look at the results. Ridiculous.
Which ever driver has the best season is the one that ‘deserves’ a championship. That said, I’d love to see Räikkönen win another but I don’t see it happening whilst he drives for Lotus.
I think ‘in the past’ are the operative words here. He’s matured as a driver a massive amount over the last while. Sure, he criticises drivers but why shouldn’t he speak his mind? It’s the same in F1, fans complain if you do and if you don’t.
@prisoner-monkeys I’m not sure if that was intended as a joke but I’m fairly certain that most GP2 drivers swear. I don’t understand all the Palmer-hate.
I’d personally love to see an F1 team take on Jolyon Palmer. His overtaking is sensational and anyone who follows him on twitter will know he’s not just another media drone.
I may be biased though, having supported Palmer for years!
