Suggest you check out bookF1.com — comment section for 2014 dated 10 Sep 2014 had a gent named “Phil” commented “they stayed in Como, beautiful place – 40 min train ride to Monza direct and only 8 euros return including shuttle bus transfer to park”. I am going and looking for places to stay in that direction but we will plan to drive to track.
