Just a note on the form guide. When adding the qualifying head to head between team-mates it would be much more beneficial to compile it before penalties are added. You don’t really see who is winning the battle on quicker over one lap when penalties are added which makes it not really a true form guide.
I was expecting this to happen. The problem is last year all the hype among the journalists was how good Vettel was and this year is how good Alonso is. If the poll was taken at the end of this year Alonso would be over rated instead of Vettel.
Like I said before I would much rather Murray Walker done a list on his own as he is the only one who has seen all the greats first hand. It says the BBC team choose the drivers which include some people that are far from qualified for rating drivers of the last 70 years.
Jake has probably picked drivers! James Allen who had Jamie Algerusuri 5th on his list of best drivers last year! Legard the legend! Andrew Benson, a sun tabloid type of journalist.
It’s not just Murray Walker and the worlds worst F1 journalist Andrew Benson. It is all the BBC F1 team putting the list together. “The BBC F1 team were asked to provide their own personal top 20s”
I personally would rather Murray just done the list because I respect him and only he has seen all the greats first hand.
