Daniel commented on the post, Unhappy teams 'knew what they were getting' – Ecclestone 7 years, 4 months ago
Too bad in this case, that the mark of a good driver is to also be able to move to a team which might not be the best option now, but will become one after dedication and hard work. Schumacher, Vettel, Hamilton, […]
Daniel commented on the post, Two teams call on EU to investigate F1 7 years, 4 months ago
Red Bull leaving, Honda/Ferrari complaining about the engine regulations. VW group not coming into F1 anytime soon. Pressuring Mercedes into supplying Red Bull by camera tricks. EU investigation into F1. Dropping […]
Daniel commented on the post, Hamilton is second driver in five races to match Senna 7 years, 4 months ago
Because its nice to see that today’s F1 drivers have it much easier with equipment which retires 3 times as less as during Senna’s time. Making Senna’s stats even more incredible.
Daniel commented on the post, Power loss compromised Rosberg's start 7 years, 4 months ago
Which would be great and all were it not for the fact that these drivers get paid millions upon millions to do something which most people would kill for. With those millions you had better make sure that you act […]

Every Tilke-free track is an instant classic.
Daniel commented on the post, Red Bull 'prepared to quit F1 after Abu Dhabi' 7 years, 4 months ago
Indeed. Let them leave. Even if that means that their own policy of down-talking their engine supplier and the fact that they were woefully unprepared now for 2 seasons in a row has clearly backfired on them. The […]
Daniel commented on the post, Button 'to leave Formula One for WEC in 2016' 7 years, 4 months ago
My thoughts exactly. I remember when he crashed out after the field was bunched up, right before the safety car release. Seeing that THAT is my clearest memory of him before 2009, I can hardly rate him at the same […]
Daniel commented on the post, Pirelli switches to super-softs for Russian Grand Prix 7 years, 5 months ago
They could add a loop, corkscrew, lapdancing from Bernie for Putin at the opening ceremony and it would STILL be the most boring race of the year. Snooze-fest guaranteed.
Daniel commented on the post, "Push him out": Audi sparks DTM furore 7 years, 6 months ago
Fits the driving mentality of the typical Audi on public roads, so Kudos for brand consistency there.

Daniel commented on the post, Manor run for the first time in Malaysia 7 years, 10 months ago
Strange how their livery matches more of what I expected from McLaren this year. The white and red for Honda, with a few touches of black/grey. All the best to them. They were being F’d up the a by most other […]
Daniel commented on the post, Mercedes expect better reliability from W06 7 years, 11 months ago
Well, I strongly believe that they stand a pretty big chance of dominating for another season. The mid-field is packed closely together so at least we can expect racing on-par with that of 2014:)

COTD in my opinion.
Daniel commented on the post, Renault hit power target for Melbourne 7 years, 11 months ago
Yeah right. They are down on power if you look at the advancements the rest has made. Maybe when compared to last year they have met their own target, but the game has moved on.
Daniel commented on the post, In pictures: Great one-off F1 helmet designs 7 years, 11 months ago
To be fair, the simpler the better in terms of design. The intricate helmet designs are now so common that a helmet such as Ericcson’s, Vergne’s and Barichello’s are a fresh look.
Daniel commented on the post, F1 loses 175 million TV viewers in six years 7 years, 12 months ago
I agree with this. People tend to forget quite quickly how boring the Newey dominated years were (Williams, Mclaren maybe less so due to engine failures:), Red Bull), and how awful some of the designs were for the […]
Daniel commented on the post, F1 loses 175 million TV viewers in six years 7 years, 12 months ago
No, because most likely he would design a car to generate more downforce in stead of going for a slippery, low-drag design which benefits efficiency.
Daniel commented on the post, Q&A with Rod Nelson on the Williams FW37 7 years, 12 months ago
I am still looking on an explanation on just how Williams can have such a tight ‘fit’ over the gearbox. Their rear-end is practically non-existent. Any analyses out there?
Daniel commented on the post, Q&A: Matt Morris on the radical McLaren-Honda MP4-30 8 years ago
Such a beautiful car. I can see why most people think the livery is boring, but just by its shape alone, its the best looking car on the grid.
