The full field of drivers present for the final race of 2010 were supposed to assemble for a photograph with their team bosses today.

Unfortunately there was one big name missing from the picture.

Seven-times champion Michael Schumacher couldn’t be found despite frantic efforts to get hold of him.

And somewhere along the lines it seems Bruno Senna and Timo Glock went AWOL too.

Se here are (almost) all the drivers at the end of the 2010 F1 season, the septuple world champion and a couple of others missing:

    1. I thought these photoshoots were mandatory?

      1. The ones of the drivers only that are taken every race are mandatory; presumably this was an optional “extra”.

        1. Every race? I though only at th first and last GPs.

      2. Seems like Lewis and Heikki are looking around for Schumi and Timo and Bruno have gone to look for him.

    2. Where are the rest of them? Pretty poor showing…

    3. Senna was talking to the stewards
Glock went to the wrong end of the paddock!

    4. Heh, MSC missing, Hamilton turning away, Fernando looking down on Felipe…

      Kubica’s facepalm says it all…

      1. Exactly like those pictures from my school days!

        1. Next time, the photographer has to say “3, 2, 1…”. This photo looks taken accidentally!

    5. Webber seems to be thinking to himself: “Will he help me, will he not, will he help me, will he not…”

      1. And Seb is like “Will I help him, will I not, will I help, will I not?

        Ditto for Lonso.

    6. Terrible shot!

Your comment was a bit too short. Please go back and try again.

And there’s Ross Brawn looking as zen as ever….

    8. probably the worst pic of this year.what a shame. noone took control of the foto session, many of the drivers didn’t take an interest in this pic.it could have been a great one if it had worked out and if these guys would have bothered. just imagine manchester united lining up their players like that…

      1. It’s obviously not the official photo…
Though granted, it’s not perfect either (no-one seems to know which camera to look at), here’s one from Formula1.com http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/1123/f12010.png

        1. I notice Heidfeld seems to think it’s somewhere behind him.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that by the end of the year, Formula 1 drivers have the collective attention span of a group of year eight students who have had too much red cordial?

        2. that’s more like it, still three(and a half) missing.

        3. Now, that’s a photo. Even if some drivers are still missing.

      2. no I think this one will be very memorable, becasue most poeple don’t pose but are natural. you can read a lot from faces and behaviour.
really pity that those 3 drivers went missing.

    9. maybe michael was having a ****….

      1. Haha good one :D

        1. Gotta shave those pounds, every once helps. lol

      2. Good one! Brundle would be pride of it.

    10. of course i was referring to brazil 2006. Grid interview of brundle with kimi…

    11. hahahah it’s incredible how NO ONE cared about the picture, except maybe Nico (fashionable as always), Jenson, Rubens and Hulk

      Kubica: facepalm
      Webber: looking somewhere
Seb: looking somewhere opposite to Mark (says it all :P)
      Lewis: looking NOWHERE!
      di Grassi: doing ‘the robot’
Klien: doing the ‘even stronger robot’
Vijay: looks like he was scratching his **** and the picture got him by surprise.

    12. Is that an end of term photo, or what? Kubica has something in his eye, Bernie and Stefano discuss Alonso, Hamilton is more interested in Sutil, Kovalainen is distracted by something behind him, whilst Hulkenberg is clearly bored. But perhaps more importantly of all … wat the hell is Tony Fernandes looking at?

      1. It would appear that he is inspecting Franz Tost’s new aero package…

    13. Where was Schumacher? Preparing for 2011 season.
What was Hamilton looking at? I thought that they knew that a photo will be taken. They all seemed to be having looking at different direction.

Bernie was angry with Schumacher, I wonder how much did it cost him?/

    14. Is there a less blurry and higher resolution one? Preferably with all the drivers and team bosses looking forwards.

    15. Lewis, you’re doing it wrong.

    16. Well this is definitely the worst group photo of F1 drivers that I have ever seen. My high school class photos usually looked much better.

    17. I can guarantee that all the drivers ect have fallen out with each other after organizing their photo, if it went anything like our school 6th year photo. :D

    18. mclaren have two team bosses and one driver…..

    19. Bernie mate, you know you don’t own a team any more right?

      Onset of old age anyone?

      13th November 2010, 9:36

Hulkenberg’s looking like standing there is a cruel punish

    21. Lewis: “Hey, has anyone noticed the hotel looks like a giant pe…”

      1. Hahahaha!!! Even if it doesn’t :)

    22. Petrov looks like he’s communicating with hitmen via a hidden mic on his collar…

    23. One of the worst unofficial photo’s ive seen in a long time lol

    24. Duff picture undoubtedly! Most of them look like life-size cardboard cut outs or waxwork models! Were they taking their influence from the Sgt Pepper album cover or something???
