Being both an F1 fan and a history geek, I started looking at some of the current F1 teams and where they have come from (who bought who, etc.) So far, this is what I have come up with. (In no particular order)
Ferrari (enough said)
McLaren (ditto)
Williams (Same)
Red Bull was Jaguar was Stewart
Lotus was Renault was Benneton was Toleman
Mercedes was Brawn was Honda was BAR was Tyrell
Force India was Spyker was Midland was Jordan
Sauber was BMW was Sauber (not a typo, go look it up)
Toro Rossa was Minardi
Caterham was Team Lotus
Marussia was Virgin RacingI think that that’s it, what do you think, did I get it all right? Also, it is kind of weird to think what might have been, especially for world championship winning teams like Benneton. At any rate, let me know what you think

Matthijs thank you, don’t know how I missed that.
Keith, Thanks, that was not made clear in my late-night research, also, wonderful site you have here
Meander, I thought Project 4 was hired by McLaren to help? Right, more research
Ajokay, oooh, thanks, that looks really good. - AuthorPosts
