Actually, I just had a thought – there’s no reason to really limit this to just current/former F1 drivers, is there? I would absolutely LOVE to see Sebastian Vettel as teammate to Mattias Ekström in F1.

What a great topic to revive! For me there are three stand-above-the-rest drivers. I’ve seen Alonso v Hamilton. Now I’d LOVE to see Hamilton v Vettel and Vettel v Alonso.THAT would be sweet!!

I would like to see Jules Bianchi and Nico Hulkenberg together at Lotus, while this doesn’t have the glamour of a Vettel-Alonso or Hamilton-Vettel, they are probably the two on the grid not at larger teams that could go on to the greatest things, so would be very exciting to watch.

Don’t laugh: Fangio – De la Rosa. They are very much alike, so I think that De la Rosa’s ability to develop a car well could really have benefited Fangio.
