@f1mre it’s mostly differentiated by income, though, if we’re being brutally honest.

@f1mre Vettel I think will likely retire, but I expect Alonso to continue. He seems to have a new appreciation for F1 since his return, and as long as Alpine is not completely hopeless and has a decent Q3 car, he’ll stay.
Going for the hardest combination is understandable, given Bahrain GP is a debut for an unfamiliar wheel rim size.

@f1mre So probably not their actual rear wing then.
@f1mre I know, I know. They’re exceptional pieces of technology, and of course perfectly safe. It was more just a dig at Bernie and his ideas.
@f1mre well said !

Maybe the day that it is proven to be intentional. i.e. never. It was hardly Senna Prost 1990 was it, let’s be honest here @f1mre.

@S @f1mre Curbs are an easier reference for drivers at their speeds & driving positions than white lines.
Inconsistency is another issue, i.e., sometimes curbs, sometimes white lines.

I think that’s my point @f1mre. It doesn’t matter.
Maybe you could define ‘nimbleness’ as a combination of weight, downforce, tyre grip and braking ability. As such weight is only one factor. We know why wei […]

@f1mre. Well if the rumors are true, Russell to Mercedes. Bottas to Alfa. Giovinnazi out. de Vries in at Alfa. Albon in at Williams. That’s quite a lot of change all up and down the field. Not everything has to b […]
@f1mre Almost certainly
@f1mre I’d query the PR value Alfa Romeo gets out of Kimi Raikkonen. He is the most PR-phobic driver on the grid lets not forget. In addition, I’ve bough two Alfa Romeo’s in the last 12 months and in the 4 visits […]

@f1mre Look at the steering and reaction from both drivers. Max immediately (and by that I mean 1 frame on Youtube, 1/30 of a second) after touching the barrier tried to steer away from it. Leclerc meanwhile does […]

@f1mre Disagree. Qualifying is about pushing absolutely flat out on the limit & anything that could see drivers holding back a bit (As drivers have admitted to doing in Indycar in the past) should never be […]

@f1mre Kimi did this in Q2 in 2007 as well. Quite a common error.
@f1mre I think the amount of money Liberty wanted for a race was a factor.
