The Texas Indycar round was crazy edge of your seat stuff.

Having witnessed your commentary on the Renault Eurocup races over the Monaco weekend, i think you do an excellent job Keith. Keep it up.

Real shame for Bourdais to be out of the running, he was so fast leading up to his crash! Hopefully he can make a swift and full recovery!

I can’t stand “hyping”, it’s transparent and actually detracts from the genuine enjoyment and excitement i feel watching a race. But as someone mentioned earlier it is worth explaining WHY things should be exciting for the audience. I often find that when i do that for any uninitiated that are watching with me that my own excitement increases, like i need reminding as much as they need the explanation.

While we’re on the subject does anyone else feel a little cringey at the headline hunting, almost tabloid esque questioning the f1 shows have outside of the commentary sections? Both Sky and BBC are guilty of this, and i find myself feeling embarrassed on their behalf a lot of the time.

I’m still catching up with all the racing series I haven’t had a chance to keep up with throughout the season. I ignore the results of categories I’m not actively following in defense against the off-season, so that I have racing to watch in the winter. Still got DTM, V8 Supercars and BTCC on the go at the moment. Plus, as mentioned before, if you look hard enough there is current racing to be found during the winter.

    How about…
    – DRS is only available when lapping backmarkers (could create chances for the opportunistic and shrewd)
    or
    – DRS is only available when the car in front is ahead on WDC points (silly yes, but along the same kind of lines as reverse grids and success ballast)

I don’t understand, who is “Universal Pay Driver”?

Edit: Oh I get it now, that seems a little unfair

This could be promising, the ultra brave could carry a lot of speed through Turns 10 & 11 and then chuck a mental Massa-esque move up the inside after the bridge!

this is a really cool challenge, as an voyeur of this thread could I ask if people could point out where the castles are located in their tracks, to help with visualisation of them?
