Monticello Motor Club is making a bid to hold the United States Grand Prix. According to Autoweek the club’s 6.59km (4.1 mile) track has already been inspected by F1 circuit designer Hermann Tilke.

Pointer won round six of the F1 Fanatic Predictions Championship by correctly guessing the second, third, fourth and fifth-place finishers. But, like almost everyone else, he didn’t tip Mark Webber to repeat his Barcelona feat of winning from pole position.
Mercedes have withdrawn their appeal against Michael Schumacher’s penalty in the Monaco Grand Prix.
